Day 1 Guwahati - Shillong

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, our friendly representative cum driver will greet you and begin your scenic drive towards Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya.

En route, take a refreshing break at the breathtaking Umiam Lake (Barapani)—a serene man-made reservoir surrounded by lush hills, perfect for photography and relaxation.

After arriving in Shillong, check in to your hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, you may visit the following popular attractions:

Don Bosco Museum – A renowned museum showcasing North East India’s diverse tribal cultures.
Ward’s Lake – A picturesque man-made lake ideal for a peaceful stroll or paddle boating.

Day 2 Shillong - Cherrapunji

After breakfast, begin your scenic journey from Shillong to Cherrapunji-one of the wettest places on Earth - accompanied by our experienced driver and representative.

Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians - A beautiful Roman Catholic church and an architectural gem of Shillong.

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trek to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat village - a true marvel of bioengineering and Khasi tribal wisdom.
Trek Details: Approximately 3 km one way with 3,500+ steps, including two suspension bridges.
Highlights:
- Cross lush forest trails and natural pools.
- Visit the Single Root Bridge and the crystal-clear Blue Lagoon (additional 40-minute hike).
- Witness a 200-year-old living root bridge, nurtured and woven by the local community.

Drive to Dawki, home to the enchanting Umngot River, often hailed as the clearest river in Asia. A boat ride on this transparent river offers a surreal experience where boats appear to float in the air.

Next, visit Mawlynnong, a pristine village in the East Khasi Hills along the India-Bangladesh border. Crowned as the Cleanest Village in Asia by Discover India in 2003, it's also known as "God's Own Garden."

What's Good: We are satisfied with the services provided, accomodation given and places for food were too good . Overall it was a wonderful experience. Can recommend it for others .
What' (Read More)s Not Good: Last day plan in itinerary was a bit disappointing in terms of time and other factors. Complimentary Breakfast for 2 days was not utilised properly due to time constraint despite a single item given early as takeaway.
