Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 JKIA ( Nairobi) - Masai Mara National Reserve

Meet and greet at the airport / hotel by the Tour driver guide of Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris. Depart from Nairobi to start your safari to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley where you’ll stop for panoramic and breathtaking views. Descend the escarpment and drive through the Hemingway-trails to Narok town and proceed to Masai Mara check-in at your camp and have lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park viewing the migrating wildebeest and zebra. Search for the Cheetah, Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, and other members of the Big five plus other animals.

After breakfast at 07:30 hrs, spend the full day game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopards, and cheetahs, and is also home to numerous elephants and virtually every other type of wildlife found in Kenya.

Lunch will be served in the park near the Mara River, which forms the border between Kenya and Tanzania and is famously known as the site of the annual wildebeest migration. After lunch, continue with a game drive exploring different sections of the park. Return to the camp at 17:30 hrs.

Optional: Visit the local Maasai villages or take a nature walk with Maasai guides (own cost).
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early breakfast at 06:30 hrs, depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru with lunch en route. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for hotel check-in and afternoon relaxation. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is one of the largest ornithological spots globally.

Lake Nakuru is part of the Great Rift Valley, which stretches 6,500 kilometers from Jordan to Mozambique and is the largest rift on Earth. The alkaline lake attracts seasonal vast numbers of pink flamingos. Other sightings may include hippos, white and black rhinos, giraffes, tree-climbing lions, leopards, and a wide variety of birds.
Today, enjoy another game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. The park continues to offer unique bird-watching opportunities and is home to many of Kenya’s iconic wildlife species. Spend your day exploring more of the Great Rift Valley ecosystem, observing flamingos, antelope, and predators in their natural habitat.
After an early breakfast, depart for Hell’s Gate National Park, named after a narrow break in the cliffs—once a tributary of a prehistoric lake that fed the early inhabitants of the Rift Valley. Begin a 2-hour guided bike tour through the park, where you may see herds of Thomson’s gazelle, eland, zebra, and hartebeest.

Hell’s Gate is also a birdwatcher’s haven, with over 100 species including Evreux’s eagles, augur buzzards, vultures, and swifts. Continue on foot into the park’s gorges and caves carved into the sedimentary rock. After a 1-hour nature walk, visit a local Maasai community to learn about their customs and traditional way of life.

Later, depart for Nairobi. On arrival, you will be dropped at your hotel or the airport between 16:30 hrs and 17:00 hrs.
