Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi - Amboseli National Park (215 km, 3-4 hrs)
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel by our driver-guide. Depart Nairobi and enjoy a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, passing through African savannah and local villages. Upon arrival, check into your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Amboseli, known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 Amboseli National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park via Lake Naivasha (312 km)
After breakfast, depart from Amboseli and drive to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the lake, home to abundant birdlife and hippos. After lunch, take a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, then continue your journey to Lake Nakuru. Check into your lodge, unwind, and enjoy dinner at the lodge.
Day 3 Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve (370 km, 5-6 hrs)
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, known for its flamingos and rhinos. After breakfast, relax at the lodge before checking out and departing for Masai Mara. Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge or camp, and visit a local Maasai village to learn about their culture. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 Masai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Masai Mara, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration. Explore the reserve, have a picnic lunch, and continue your game drive in the afternoon. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 Masai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast, check out from the lodge and depart for Nairobi. Enjoy a scenic drive with lunch en route. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you can opt for a short city tour before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport.

We started our trip from New Delhi to Nairobi via Mumbai by Indigo flight. Dennis was there to welcome us at the airport early in the morning. We started off to Samburu, had lunch on the way had a relaxing evening at the resort. We had a wonderful game drive next day at the samburu national reserve, saw a leopard, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, etc from close quarters. We went to ol Pajeto conservancy, fed blind rhino, saw chimpanzees and other animals including two horned rhinos, proceeded to Nakuru saw pelicans, flamingos etc there, Masai Mara we stayed for three nights and had two game drives.
Could see lots of lions, cheetah with its prey as well as a pregnant cheetah, zebras, giraffes etc. we also saw ostriches and other animals and birds there. We then went to Naivasha had a boat ride with walk and see crocodiles and hippos and crescent island visit walked with zebras, impalas and wildebeest but couldn’t see giraffe there. Due to floods last year many parts of crescent island got submerged so could only see part of the island. Our last destination was Amboseli park with game drive there. Overall it was a highly satisfying and interesting experience. İmara Destinations did a very good job of taking us to the exact spots where animals would be seen uninterrupted. 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp.
2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality.
3. James is very knowledgeable.
4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious.
5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details.
6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it.
7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

We got to see the Big5 within 3 days of our itenary and more on the next days. Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives. We didn't feel rushed throughout our tour, because it is designed very well to accomodate enough rest. 10/10 recommend
