Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar
- On arrival at Srinagar, a representative will meet and assist with transfer to hotel.
- Check-in to hotel and relax.
- In the afternoon, proceed for sightseeing around the region.
- Visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Hazratbal Shrine and Shankracharya Temple.
- In the evening, take a Shikara ride across Dal Lake.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 2 Exploring Srinagar
- Spend the day sightseeing around Srinagar.
- Visit the Floating Market, Char-e-Chinar, Nehru Park, Pari Mahal and Hari Parbat Fort.
- Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 3 Roadtrip to Pahalgam
- In the morning, drive to Pahalgam.
- En-route, visit the world's largest saffron gardens at Samboora and stop by Sarbal Lake.
- Arrive at Pahalgam, and check-in to hotel.
- Later, visit Mamaleshwar Temple, Chandanwari and Hagan Valley.
- Also try white river rafting at Lidder River (by self).
- Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 4 Return to Srinagar
- Check-out from hotel and drive back to Srinagar.
- On the way back, stop by Martand Surya Temple, Anantnag Sulphur Springs and Avanti Swami Temple Ruins.
- Arrive in Srinagar and check-in to a houseboat
- Later, visit Chashma Shahi Garden and Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5 Departure
- Check-out of hotel and transfer to the airport/station for journey back home.

I was quite concerned about my kids 1 year and 4 year old but travgen made it ea (Read More)sy for us. The people in travgen, no matter it was Ms Samreen who planned our itenaries from Day 1 to Day 5 or our cab driver Tawseef bhai who took our to different places, all were quite helpful. Travgen is srinagar based so that's one of prominent benefit, so if they know each and every places in detail, when to go and what to avoid n all. Also there were no last minute surprises till Day 5 unlike other platforms. So if you are concerned and planning for a kashmir trip the Travgen is the best option.

The tour was expertly planned by the owner, Mr. Amir, who provided exceptional care and treated us like family throughout the trip. The hotels provided were very good, and our taxi driver, Mr. Nawaz bhai, was a great person with a friendly demeanor.
He provided helpful advice for navigating local areas, including tips on where to go and how to bargain for pony rides. His guidance was especially valuable for our trip to Gulmarg, where he advised us to walk to the gondola ride station to avoid local vendors who aggressively try to sell auto or horse rides.
