Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Bagdogra and Transfer to Darjeeling

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, where our representative will assist with your transfer to Darjeeling.
Check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, exploring nearby markets or enjoying the cool Himalayan air.
Darjeeling, often called the "Queen of the Hills," offers breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga range and lush tea gardens.
You can stroll around the Chowrasta Mall and try local snacks like momos and thukpa.
Meals: Dinner included.
Stay: Hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing

Start early with a visit to Tiger Hill (4:00 AM) to witness a stunning sunrise over Kanchenjunga.
Visit the historic Ghoom Monastery and the charming Batasia Loop.
Post-breakfast, explore:
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) – Perfect for families to learn about mountaineering.

Day 3 Darjeeling – Gangtok (100 km / 4 Hours)

Gangtok, nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, offers a mix of scenic beauty, modern amenities, and traditional culture.

Day 4 Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir Excursion

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.
Drive to Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake located at an altitude of 12,313 feet above sea level.
Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the crystal-clear waters of the lake.
Indulge in optional activities like yak rides or simply soak in the serene atmosphere.
Proceed to Baba Mandir, a sacred shrine dedicated to the Indian Army soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh.
Explore the shrine and learn about the fascinating legend associated with Baba Harbhajan Singh.
Offer prayers and seek blessings at the temple.
Return to Gangtok in the evening. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the local markets or relaxing at your hotel.

Day 5 Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Gangtok's top attractions:
Rumtek Monastery: A serene monastery showcasing traditional Tibetan architecture.

Ganesh Tok: A viewpoint offering panoramic views of Gangtok and the Himalayas.

Arrive in Lachung and check in to your hotel. Spend the evening soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
Tip: Keep binoculars handy to spot rare birds along the route.

Day 7 Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion

After an early breakfast, proceed to Yumthang Valley, also known as the "Valley of Flowers."
Explore the breathtaking landscape dotted with rhododendrons (seasonal) and a scenic river.
If weather permits, visit Zero Point (optional, at an extra cost), located at an altitude of 15,300 feet.
Return to Lachung by evening and relax at your hotel.

Day 8 Lachung – Gangtok – Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Gangtok and continue your onward journey to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your departure.

What's Not Good: Everything was good as per planned. Some of Kashmir hotels are giving couple rooms even we booked Two family rooms.. That was little disappointing.

We had planned to visit Ladakh n Kashmir at the same time n tried many online travel platforms but none of them were able to come up to a plan which suited our travelling ideas but only holiday dreame (Read More)rs were able to make our dream come through that’s y I gusse the have the name HOLIDAY DREAMERS seriously a lot of travelling was involved in this trips as we travelled from Leh to nubra to Pangong to Leh to Kargil to sonamarg to Gulmarg to Pahalgam to Doodhpatri to Srinagar (this many places we travelled for a period of 11 days) even after we had such a long wish list of places to travel Only holiday dreamers made it possible for us to travel it without any chaos Special thanks to himani who was there every time when we need small things o changed n she put all her effort so that we have fun n travel safely n have a peaceful time Thanks you himani n holiday dreamers for making such a memorable trip for us
