Experience a historic site without compromising on conveniences

historic property with really interesting features. Fantastic and fast breakfast sandwich at the restaurant. Walked to our meetings downtown, walked around the corner to Perly's for breakfast one day, which was fantastic. Public library with rare books collection across the street. You can park out front to check in. Street parking on the street, pay attention to the times or you might be towed. They pointed us to an economical overnight parking garage half a block away. Fantastic YMCA gym half a block away with hotel privileges.

The hotel is not handicap friendly and there are lots of stairs

great location, comfortable beautiful rooms. nice staff. make sure to grab a meal at Pearlys around the block for a perfect visit.

the corridors are external - so it gets cold to leave your room in winter.

A very comfortable way to spend a week in downtown Richmond

Location was fantastic, and had several places nearby to get groceries if you are so inclined. Museums within walking distance and easy way for cars to pick you up. Comfortable!

No view to speak of. Got a view into the courtyard where people sometimes sit around and chat. Thin walls/floors caused me to wake up from people walking and/or talking.

Loved the classic feel and esthetic. Loved the courtyard. Very soft beds, loved that. Pleasant staff. Nice decor in lobby.

I really liked everything. The rooms are old and curtains, paint, carpet could be updated but it's very well taken care of and my room was clean so no complaints really. You could just tell everything has been there for a long time...a little worn. I'll be back! Great pricing too. Keep that up please
