Best Guwahati Pitstop

Neat and clean place. The caretaker Sofi is a jack of all trades guy with always a bright smile on his face! This is an amazing place for a pitstop at guwahati. Not that great for old people since they would need tea and food on time, but amazing place for working professionals for over a very economic price. ** while booking, ensure you are booking a room with attached bathroom. There are two rooms in the property with common bathroom.

Nearby restaurants are a 15 min walk unless you take a short cut which is through a dirty backyard. This is more of a b&b where you can cook your own food or tea. However this place is well connected by swiggy / zomatp, thus

Cozy homestay at Guwahati

1. Good cozy guest house with a super helpful caretaker : Sofi 2. Book the queen or king room, the smaller rooms doesn't have attached Bathroom 3. The rooms are big with a attached small balcony 4. The rooms have a work setup - a working table and chair

No tea , coffee, food options . They have their own kitchen where you can cook your own food

Not much. This was advertised as a homestay which it really wasn't. It felt like a shared appartment. It is not really suitable for foreign tourists wishing to visit Guwahati.

Our duvet had no duvet cover. We got a freshly laundered duvet but still without a cover. This may be customary in India but it felt very unhygienic.

Bed linens (sheets) should be provided with the blanket. Bathroom and toilet needs proper sanitation.

Exceptional

This property is located at the heart of the city, it is easily accessible to hospitals, malls and super markets. The rooms here are spacious with all modern amenities, the days we stayed over there felt like it's more like a home away from home. The owner of the property was very helpfull too.

An emergency yet very much needed

The wash room was common and outside my room, The check out time was quite early 8:00-9:00 AM. It was not expected from the photos of the property though.
