    The highlight of our trip
    Everything about the Three Gables exceeded our expectation. The hotel / villa itself was very clean and absolutely stunning, with beautiful design and furnishing. The room was huge and had absolutely everything you could possibly need, along with the comfiest bed we stayed in all holiday. The food was incredible, especially the Sri Lankan breakfast which is huge! Everything is cooked fresh and the staff go out to get the ingredients specifically so to ensure they are as fresh as possible - it almost get like having your own private chef. Most importantly the staff and the service was impeccable I have never experienced anything like it, nothing is too much and they already pre-empted everything that we could possibly have wanted / needed. We stayed for 5 nights and it was pure relaxation and luxury, I cant recommend it enough.

    A unique and absolutely stunning villa with excellent service and friendly atmosphere. They really have an eye for details which make this place really special. Best place in Sri Lanka that we warmly recommend.

    This hotel was perfect. We had the MOST amazing time. It was intimate, quite and beautiful. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was great. The service was especially exceptional and there was nothing staff was not happy to arrange. A special thanks to Dinuka who made us feel like home!

    Everything. Very friendly and efficient staff. Always willing to help and provide. Very clean and comfortable. Great manager in Dinuka. Felt very special. Breakfast the best.
    Nothing. A suggestion. Towel and robe hooks/rails in bathrooms. Reading lamps next to the beds.

    Perfect stay, incredible staff, amazing view!
    The stay in this hotel was the highlight of our time in Sri Lanka! A big thank you to all the staff who were absolutely superb. The breakfasts were SO delicious (recommend the potato Sri Lankan curry & waffles!), and the view from the hotel was breathtaking. The pool was gorgeous and the beach was clean and quiet. The room was spotless and cleaned twice a day with comfy bed and lovely bathroom. We had tuk tuks and taxis arranged for us no problem. We couldnt fault our stay! (PS would recommend the restaurant Zephyr on a Saturday with live music, its a 10 min walk down the beach!)

    Could not recommend staying here enough.
    We loved this place so much - it was genuinely the best hotel I have ever stayed at and wholly worth the premium price. The staff were so incredibly attentive, helpful and lovely to talk to, they told us they wanted the place to feel like home and they really meant it. We were so well looked after in every respect and are so grateful for their efforts. In particular we really got to know Dinuka, and cannot thank him enough for the time he took talking to us, all the things he did to help us and for treating us to a cooking class on the last night. The place is also absolutely beautiful, even better than the photos, very private, spotless and comfortable - right on the beach and a short trip from Mirissa, Weligama and a bunch of other places we didnt get to explore. We shall be returning if we get the chance. Highly, highly recommend.

    The villa is a pure treasure with exquisite architectural details and a very comfortable room. Tucked away from the busy tourist area, it offers a very romantic and quiet stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful & the breakfast was very lush! :)

    Everything! Staff - the staff were absolutely fantastic - attentive, helpful, polite and happy. Dinuka and his team went out of there way to ensure our stay was special. Dinuka was always happy to have a conversation and give us interesting facts about Sri Lanka and the food that we were eating, as well offering tips of where to visit during our time. Not only this but Dinuka always showed an interest in what we were doing for the day, and seemed genuinely interested, always asking how it went when we returned to the hotel. Throughout our stays in Sri Lanka and around the world I would say this was best service we have ever received. Food - the breakfast which was included in our stay was nothing short of brilliant. A wide range of things to choose off the menu and huge portions. One of the evenings Dinuka went to a local fish market on the day and chose a fish for us to eat one of the nights which was cooked to perfection in a marinade and served to us on the beach. It is clear that Dinuka and his team have a genuine love of their job, and enjoy providing their guests with the best service possible. We also had dinner in the hotel a few other nights and they offer a wide range of food - all of the food we had was very good and fresh. They also offer a drinks menu with beers and cocktails. It is well catered for all. Facilities - the hotel is on the beach and has a swimming pool also. With only four rooms in the hotel we were often in the pool by ourselves or on the beach by ourselves. The beach is very quiet as there is no public access and as such makes the stay feel that extra bit special. The room was comfortable and had AC. It was clean, tidy and the staff cleaned it daily for us. We also got upgraded on arrival to a slightly bigger room as it was available by Dinuka which was very kind. Although this hotel is expensive, it was definitely worth the money. We spent five nights here and loved our stay.

    Nothing! Only negative however we knew this before booking is that the waves in the sea here are big so it is not safe to swim. There is however a rock pool where you can swim a few mins walk away. In addition to this you can go to other beaches in the area to swim if you wish. Dont let this put you off though as lots of beaches in the area also have large waves and it is normal for this part of Sri Lanka.
