The reviewer enjoyed the comfortable bed and good food at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa, but was disappointed with the low quality of toilet paper. They felt that the ocean view room was (Read More) not worth the extra money. However, the best aspect of their stay was being able to enjoy the low light levels and excellent stargazing opportunities, with views of 15 constellations on three different nights. Improvement in the quality of toilet paper in the rooms was suggested.

Good

Lovely hotel but some minor inconveniences.

The hotel was beautiful. I loved the outdoor jacuzzi and pool area. Easy access to the beach.

Our package included breakfast so we went to the restaurant and they told us that our names werent on the list, so they would call the front desk to clear up the confusion. After several minutes, we were told that our stay didnt include breakfast so we had to walk all the way back to the front desk to talk to Tim, who also told us we didnt get breakfast. I had to show him my confirmation before he would give us our vouchers. Also, youre not allowed to use one of the luggage trollies by yourself. They force you to use their bell service or carry your bags by hand.

The rooms and bathrooms was very nice

We didnt like that most of the amenities were closed. One restaurant with small menu. Family room was closed due to renovations and it was too cold for our kids to go out.

Disappointing

Had to be there, didnt want to.

felt like being inside the movie The Shining. Loooooong hallway, deserted, saw one (one) cleaning lady on my floor, nobody else. I dont smoke indoor at home, let alone in a hotel room. But you have to exit the premises (including the parking lot) for a cigarette. Coffee machine in the room 15 years old or more, making weak coffee. One person at reception, again, nobody else. Working in the rooms below us, noise all morning.

Very good

Attractive room with comfortable bed and ample bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient to the pool and the beach.Enjoyed our ocean view porch.

Our room was a long walk from the elevators.
