My party of four opted to eat our first dinner at your main restaurant at the hotel. We had traveled half a day to get to Hilton Head with friends, so we were tired and wanted to stay put after a long drive. Things seemed to be going well until our server delivered the wrong entree to me. My wife and our two friends heard what I ordered, so the server had put in the wrong order. I decided to accept what she brought and enjoyed the food. When we were ready to leave, we had asked her to split the total bill half and half. when she returned with the bills, mine was for the correct amount, but my friends was for the entire amount for both couples. I took both bills to her and she had her manager correct the two bills. Two days later, I was reviewing my debit card charges and saw that I had been double charged for the meal. My friend had charged his bill to his room, and it was correct. I reported the error to the front desk and was told that the accounting department would look into it and be in touch with me. Later that afternoon, the front desk texted me that the error was located and that an that a correction would be made. As of today, October 9th, I have yet to receive my credit for the mistake. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth since the hotel has had sufficient time to post a correction.
