Some reviewers complained about old and noisy air conditioners that didn't cool the room properly. Others had an amazing time and loved the beautiful grounds, upgraded rooms with Lakeview, and the hi (Read More)ghlight of the trip being the awesome pools. Good

There was a posse of children running all over the main building screaming while we we trying to enjoy our anniversary dinner. No one spoke to them or tried to find their parents.

Great wedding venue.

The grounds were beautiful and decorated for fall

The food wasnt that good. We had fillet and lobster and mine had too much rosemary on my beef and my lobster tail was dry.

The room

Two class citiens, the Villages could not walk on the beach. I thought I was checking into the Ocen Edge with all their ammenities, but NO apparently I really booked at The Villages and we were limited We are not golf people. I was hopeing to be checking into a resort for but we did not. We spent most of our time off property where we were more able to have the vacation we wanted. Dissappointed, wont go back even now knowing the rules......

The barhroom needs some better safety Features( safety bar, slippery tub) Needs some paperwork w hours of the restaurants, etc..

The staff, location and restaurants were great, but the beds need a new mattress.

The location is perfect and family friendly.

The bed was not comfortable with a big dip on either side.

Superb

Room was comfortable and clean with needed amenities. Pool area was nice. Area was good for a morning run around the resort. Golf course was excellent!

No access to the beach, public beach was adjacent. Just seems like there could be a better way to manage beach access for guests at the Villages. Facility could have communicated process for public beach parking passes. Shuttle service seemed spotty, didn't use it because we didn't know when it would run. Speed bumps on main road through complex, but I understand. Almost got locked of our unit in what I thought was an exit stairwell .
