Luxury for less money!

Amazing hotel! They have only 2 rooms, so book quick! The room was beautiful and the garden and pool nice and clean. Very helpful owner and staff. You get a luxury feeling here.

Amazing guesthouse!

This property was truly stunning. We were stunned at how large the room was. The facilities were fantastic, especially the large overhead shower. The outdoor pool was lovely and clean. Breakfast was lovely too and the staff were so friendly and polite. We would definitely recommend this place if you are staying in hikkaduwa!

The Residence Hikkaduwa is highly recommended!

Chamara and his family are very warm, helpful and always accommodating. We felt very comfortable, safe and in good hands. The Residence Hikkaduwa is located on his private property where he lives with his family. Chamara is always available for questions on site or via WhatsApp. Individual wishes are always asked and fulfilled. The room is beautifully decorated, very clean and you immediately realize that he has experience and knowledge in the hotel industry. It's the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax, whether in your room, by the pool or on the rooftop. Breakfast was included and was simply fantastic and prepared with love. Finally we booked transportation to Colombo and Chamara showed us some of the sights. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you!

Immaculate room. Best I have stayed in whilst visiting Sri Lanka. Location. 3 minute walk from busy beach into beautiful quiet house. Staff very friendly and Chamara always kept in touch to see if everything was ok. Highly recommend.

The residence has a really communicative and helpful host. He helped us with any problems or hardships we encountered. He even helped us rent a scooter for a really good price. The Building is a few hundred meters from the busy center, thus it has a calm atmosphere, mostly you can only hear some birds. The garden around the house is well organised and clean with many trees giving you much needed shadows. The rooms are really spacious with a huge and comfortable bed. We couldn't find any dust inside, everything was perfectly tidy. I would speculate, that this was our only accommodation in Sri Lanka where we didn't see any mold on the walls. The AC -unit ensures a comfortable atmosphere. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who plans to stay in this region.

The Residence in Hikkaduwa is an one of a kind accomodation like an oasis in the busy surrounding of Hikkaduwa. We spent four nights there and it was a very good choice for us. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped. You can tell that the owner has extensive experience in the hotel business and uses it skillfully in decorating the premises. Speaking of the owner, Chamara is a very congenial host with whom you can have an excellent conversation. He told us a lot about the country and its inhabitants, which was very informative for us. Thank you for having us, we definitely recommend staying at the Residence Hikkaduwa. Also the breakfast is delicious and it is possible to have your laundry cleaned within 48 hours for a small amount of money which was very helpful for us.
