Disappointing

Hotel with a nice pool - otherwise not worth the money

Palm Cove is a beautiful holiday resort with flair and class. The hotel is quietly located in the second row to the long sandy beach. In just a few minutes you can reach the beach promenade with many restaurants. The natural pool under tall palm trees is beautifully designed.

Although the reception is only open until 7:00 p.m., it was already closed when we arrived at 6:45 p.m. The room key was in a locker with a code. Unfortunately, our room was opposite the open parking garage and was extremely dark. The only window faced the opposite hotel wall. No comparison to the photos shown on booking. Overall, the room seemed clean but shabby. In addition, the air conditioning only worked irregularly, especially at night - at 35 degrees and 90% humidity. A corresponding number of mosquitoes in the room affected our stay. The older couple at reception were consistently ill-tempered and unfriendly - thankfully the only Australians of this type on our entire trip. The description says that the room is only cleaned for a 5-night stay, but that's still not comfortable. The early check out at 10:00 is not pleasant either.

Superb

We had a lovely, relaxing and comfortable stay. I would come here again.

It is a peaceful place. The gardens really make it feel tropical and relaxing. The pool and deck are shaded beautifully by the trees and gardens. I loved how our room opened out to the garden.

If I had to say something it would be that the pathways are a bit uneven and potential trip hazards. Thats all really.

We love staying here, its our go to every time were in palm cove! Super quiet and gorgeous gardens lush throughout! Beautiful airy big rooms easy carpark area for guests and always clean
