Fantastic location in a beautiful hotel with amazing service.

The staff at this location were absolutely fantastic. The location is unbeatable in Hermanus. Our meals in the restaurant were phenomenal.

The plug in the bath didnt work but that was not really a big deal as we had a shower.

Beautiful scenery,excellent service and superb dining

The staff inclusive of the management team were exceptional. They made every effort tho understand the needs of the customers. The Christmas lunch was superb and catered for all dietary needs. It will be good for the owners to consider some revamps by keeping the ambience of the environment. This is certainly a place to visit even if just for a meal.

The checking of the rooms before allocating to ensure that all is according to the way a customer would like to be welcomed.

Everything. The staff are exceptional. Nothing is a hassle for them. Breakfast was great as well as the dinner we had. The size of the hotel was great. They were full but you never felt your space has been evaded.

Location

The room was overpriced, we could have stayed at berkenhead house if we knew that the rooms were so dated. Room was ok, but not for this price.

Price/value not worth but there is a potential

Fantastic location, wonderful view in a historic building

On the photos the hotel looks more standing its own, so l thought it is more pivate but ot has buildings around. Nice but expected different. Thr hotel bar looks extremely cheap, like an outdoor pool bar, that should be redone. The salon part is nice so this doesnt match and below to a 5 star hotel. In the restaurant the whole team standing in the door and chatting ( 3 days non-stop) so they dont really do service what needed. You have to catch them. On this they have to work, also the managar stands there many times so they should start on top management. By the pool the yound beginner guy was trying very heard, he was the only one who tried to feel you like a 5 star hotel. So the potential is very bug in this hotel, the team has to grow up to that, since the prices are there. This cause a price/value issue. For now it is not worth the hight price. Needs a soul who runs it and makes you feel the place.

The room was lovely, we received complimentary cake and bottle for our honeymoon - thank you so much! Bed was comfortable, staff very friendly and location was perfect

We loved every second!

The room was lovely and the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. Loved the location and easy access to town.

Everything was great. I'd recommend more vegan options at breakfast though. Having a vegan, dairy-free option would make a good choice for many people who have allergies.
