    Quiet, cosy, clean, and convenient homestay
    Tucked away in a quiet residential street, the Hideout Agra homestay is located near a wide variety of restaurants and stores, and a short 18-minute walk from the one and only Taj Mahal. The room is clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with many books about Agra and its surroundings available in various languages. Breakfast was always delicious and never in short supply, and the free filtered water tap in the kitchen was an excellent touch. Unlike other homestays, there is no curfew so you can enter and leave at any time that suits you.
    Not necessarily a negative but above our room door was a flyscreen that led to the communal kitchen/loungeroom, so just be aware that sound can easily travel back and forth.

    Room, breakfast, staff behaviour and superb location with lot of restaurant options plus taj is 1km away.
    Those who have problem climbing stairs, it's a bit difficult as one has to climb one floor for rooms. If this is a non issue, then there is nothing to complaint about the hotel

    There are so much facilities mentioned in the services but most of them are not active. Basic things like toiletries not provided. At the time of bathing there is no water and then my wife asked the staff for the same. Needs improvement if continue to run the property. I am not the one who suffered but the other guests were also complaining about the same.
    Basic amenities not provided but yes it is located at the fine location and proximity to market. Premises should work upon the facilities list which they mentioned over the portal.

    The rooftop terrace
    Everything. The outside is dirty and messy, the windows in the room was full of condensation, the room stank of sewage, and the room was damp and bed linen looked unwashed. The bathroom was disgusting and looked like it had not been washed in years. In the evening we were talking and the staff knocked on the door and asked us to be quiet and in the morning they knocked and woke us to ask if we want breakfast. Avoid like the plague

    The room was a very ample size. Staff helpful - arranged for a taxi to take us on to Delhi. An attractive garden area.
    The first evening another family with young children "took over" the common area next to our room and were rather noisy.
