Superb

My stay at Central Park North was perfect for the solo trip that I took.

The location of Central Park North is amazing. I was able to walk a lot around New York and see all the great things the city had to offer. I also was able to take the subway downtown and see the different parks of the city very easily. It was also just a perfect place to come back to after walking and riding the subway all day. I would suggest it to anyone taking a solo trip.

The room was clean and staffs were so friendly.

Shared shower on 3rd floor was broken so water temperature control was very very difficult. In addition, an woman who lives permanently next door to the room I was assigned came all the way to complain about the "noisy door closing" over and over again, which was very annoying. I was annoyed, as I am sure I did not close the door with that much force. I would not stay at this hotel again, at least not on the 3rd floor.

Very good

It was clean and comfortable and it was close to two subways that took you in no time to the city centre.

The location was a bit sketchy. During the day its fine, there are a lot of people running and walking around cause its very near to central park. But, when its dark outside its a bit scary because of how many drug addicts there are in the neighbourhood. I would sat you just have to be very aware of your surroundings.

Very good for the money. This is not a 4-star hotel and does not charge as such.

Very affordable price in an ideal location. Very accommodating staff that will do what they can to make your stay more comfortable. For example, we asked for extra pillows and that was not a problem.

No thrills, very basic room and board. There is shared bathrooms and lots of stairs if you're on the top floor.
