The Brown Hotel is a gorgeous historical gem with grand architecture and festive decor. The self-parking option and connected tunnel make it convenient. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, (Read More)but the HVAC system can be loud. There were cleanliness issues in the bathroom and public restrooms. The hotel is loved for its beautiful views, old-fashioned decor, and attention to detail. The restaurant offers delicious food and excellent service. The hotel's historic charm and friendly staff make it a worth while stay.

Being told 2 days Pryor to visit was not able to make a reservation for dinner that evening and you were fully booked. But that evening all but 1 table of guests were empty

Love the Brown, the bar, just a very classy place!

I appreciated that there were two of the foldup luggage stands already in the room. Always frustrating for my wife and I to check into a room and find only one.

Most hotels (incl. the Brown) need more towel racks in the bathroom. When two people bathe and there are two bath towels, two wet washcloths, two hand towels, there just isn't room for everything. And yet there's plenty of wall space for more racks.

Great Location in the Heart of Louisville

The restaurant onsite is great, and they are known for this hot brown sandwich that is delicious and enormous. You won't be disappointed. The hotel is quaint and older with so much charm and character and everyone was delightful.
