Completely Disgusted & Forced to Pay More than it was Worth

The friendliness of the staff members throughout the entire hotel was really amazing especially the front desk staff, however there was one front desk employee that lied about a sewage problem instead of just moving our room, which caused my partner to get violently ill for about an hour.

There was mold in the pool area & pool bathroom, broken doors on waterproof electrical outlets in the pool area aren't safe, water damage from broken pipes made a horrible rotten stench so we had to switch rooms at 3am, there's extensive water damage to the ceilings all throughout and it just looks like it's about to fall on your head while eating at the hotel restaurant in the lobby, the breakfast wasn't even included AND it was overpriced and tasted terrible. There was an applesauce cup sitting on the AC unit on floor 2 for at least a week. I think someone was testing the cleaning crew to see if they'd notice. Spoiler: they didn't notice. Floors everywhere are always dirty. Gum stuck to the carpet in the lobby hall. There was so much trash under the couch once we got moved into the King suite room. Then there was the moldy room on floor 2. It smelled RANCID after they tried putting a bunch of fans to dry out the room. It didn't work. I was gagging everytime I walked past because the smell was just terrible funky mildew carpets. I'm not quite sure how this location received such good reviews. I'm just shocked that this is a Hilton property. I've NEVER been THIS dissatisfied with a Hilton hotel before in my life. I'm actually super confused and off-put.

Location was convenient for our purpose in town.

Pillows were extremely soft to the point where even with 2 it was like not even having one at all. Mattress was a little more firm than I like. Therefore we did not rest well over the weekend.

spent no time other than sleeping in room but the staff was excellent

kitchen and bar staff was excellent. Hilton needs to give these people a raise, they are the reason people keep staying in your hotel/inn. Hilton makes more than enough to give those employees substantial raises.

could have been more parking but the entire rear of the hotel parking lot was filled with golf carts. Not much room for paying customers. expand the parking.

We stay here every year for the NSRA Street Nationals. Its our 4th year staying here and we couldnt speak more highly of it! Its always SUPER clean, the staff is always amazing, breakfast is great too!!!
