The hotel was beautiful, the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.
We also loved the food - the breakfast was always delicious and there was plenty of choice, and the Bombay brasserie served some of the best Indian food we have ever had.
We had booked a partial view burj khalifa view and the view was excellent, we watched the New Years Eve fireworks from the room
The only slight downside is that whilst the hotel looks close to the Dubai Mall and Burj khalifa, it wasnt very easy or quick to walk there (no direct route), it was about a 25 minute walk. The hotel provided a shuttle bus to Dubai mall

My husband and I were warmly welcomed into Taj Dubai on Nov 26 and checked out on Nov 29, marking an unparalleled hospitality journey.
The gracious reception, adorned with Tulasi beads garlands and a welcome drink, set the tone for our extraordinary stay.
A seamless check-in process, accompanied by a detailed introduction to the hotel's services, efficient luggage delivery, and outstanding room amenities, added to the splendor of our experience.
Following a 14.5-hour flight from Seattle to Dubai, the first night's warm welcome and exceptional room amenities provided a perfect respite. The food and beverage team's gracious accommodation of our strict vegetarian jain diet, with personalized breakfasts each morning, fueled our exploration of Dubai's luxurious attractionsthe Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Miracle Garden, Illusion Museum, and Downtown Dubai.
Choosing Taj's chauffeur service further elevated our stay. As a hospital training manager, care and compassion are paramount in my day to day career, and Taj Dubai surpassed my expectations with a genuine display of care and compassion. Location plus the rooms were very comfortable.
Toiletries need to be more handy plus good brand. Also there needs to be some different variations in breakfast which is very boring after 3-4 days stay & some good food addition for small children.

Lovely themed hotel, beautifully appointed rooms, very friendly staff
Taj is a lovely Indian themed hotel within a short hop of Dubai Mall, Burj Kalifa and only 20 minutes from other places we wanted to visit. It is very nicely appointed, the rooms large and clean, and the staff lovely.
It is a little out of the way if you wish to walk to attractions. But that is probably true of all hotels in Dubai.
