Size of the place is great, most of the rooms we didnt even use. Pool size is great. Wonderful, helpful host

Need to remember it has been someones home and is alittle rough around the edges (pool tiles loose, cupboards not closing etc) but didnt impact our stay at all. Couldnt get the pool clean, everytime we cleaned it, it seemed to get worse. The colour of the tiles doesnt help, but think the filter should be running a lot more than it did. Stayed three nights, used minimal AC, no TVs or cooking but the elec bill has still 1300B which surprised us.

Our overall stay wasn't very pleasant. - We booked the villa mainly because of the pool and the privacy to be with our friends during our holiday. The pool was not cleaned when we arrived, we actually had to clean it ourselves, and it got dirty very quickly every day. The pool cleaner did come and clean however it still remained dirty, we didn't end up using it in the end. - There are cameras outside in the pool/sitting area which also didn't make me want to use the pool much either. - The location is fine, but you definitely need a car or scooter to get around. - We had to pay for the electricity usage bill at the end of our stay, which is just bad practice and felt really dodgy. If a guest has to pay for the electricity then the host should just include it in the overall upfront cost for the accommodation. - We returned back to the villa after a long day and were confronted by migration police, which is unsettling as a traveller and its because the host didn't register us as staying at the property.

we paid for 4 bedrooms on the booking only for the host to only give us 2 and make us pay 1000baht cash per room per night for the other bedrooms.

We had a short but great stay with the family

First of all, Cord was very nice and welcoming and communication was very good. The villa itself was very nice; located in a quiet neighbourhood, all rooms plenty spacious, some shade on the terrace throughout the day, and the kids loved the pool.

Some parts of the villa started to show their age a little, especially the A/C units. One of the units didnt work on the first day and despite Cords efforts no one would be available to fix it until the next morning. Im happy with how it was resolved nonetheless.

Dont think about it, just pack your bags and go there!

Brilliant location: anything you might need is relatively close; you get sun light the whole day( only missing the sunset); its very private- the only people we saw were workers on the neighbors roof. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The villa is very well equipped, we personally had everything we needed. The island has a very good delivery service app- food or shopping delivered straight to you. I highly recommend hiring a vehicle because some roads are extremely steep. Also not everything is as close as it looks on Google Maps, dont forget that the island is mainly jungle. The pool was so enjoyable that we did not see the point of going to the beaches which are crowded and overpriced.

Beautiful, peaceful and huge villa with everything you need

This is a huge 4 bedroomed villa which could comfortably host 4 couples and there is a cot in the huge walk-in wardrobe (if required.) The pool is large and deep at the deep end. it was just myself and my wife who stayed for two nights so the place felt very big. Cord our host was very helpful and approachable and can give you ideas for your stay and has a handy list of phone numbers for cabs etc. The kitchen is massive and all set if you want to cook youre own food. The property is high up on a hill which we didnt mind because we like to walk a-lot, but if hills are a negative for you then take a taxi!! All in all a very special place and we loved it and the views of the ocean are stunning. Thank you Cord. Pete and Tarsila.
