Superb

Spectacular views, clean and spacious rooms, and exemplary service.

We had a fantastic suite. We received an upgrade to a one-bedroom suite with a spectacular view. Our friends were placed in a junior suite next to us, which allowed us to enjoy the experience of Positano together. The rooms, and especially the outside deck and balcony, were spacious and clean. The pool area was excellent, with friendly and personable staff. Great fitness room overlooking the ocean. It is truly situated in the best location in Positano. The shuttle service was worth the price of having to valet our car.

When we booked the hotel, there was no mention of the Remmesse Beach House being shut down for the season on the day of our arrival. We were disappointed that we had no access to the beach, despite the Beach House being one of the main reasons we chose to stay at the property. The breakfast was also relatively poor for a 5-star hotel, especially the scrambled eggs.

Breathtaking Hotel

The property is insanely beautiful and unique compared to other hotels weve stayed at on our trip. The staff is very accommodating and super friendly. The breakfast has breathtaking views if you eat outside.

Since its at the top of the cliff and such a huge property, make sure to use the shuttle to get into downtown area. They also offer a water taxi to the beach area for an additional cost.

Setting was glorious Very useful shuttle bus service to the town Rooms lovely Staff very attentive and helpful

Lack of storage for clothes with cheap & nasty hangers were definitely not 5 star. Breakfast was rather average and unimaginative. Pool area very small Very pricey - you pay a lot for the fabulous location. You cannot avoid a lot of steep stairs, even with several lifts and a funicular to take you up and down the cliffside. Not for the infirm

Extremely bad expience at an unjustifiable price

The views

Unbelievably expensive for no reason Its a tourist trap simply Paid 2000 usd a night for what compared to an Ibis hotel experience. Rooms where very basic, not renovated and the STAIRS a disaster. Endless stairs to move around the hotel. A totally deceiving experience which left us unhappy even about Positano as a whole. Do not go there.

When we arrived at Hotel Le Agavi we were pleasantly surprised. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. Our room was upgraded and we had the most spectacular view of Positano and the sea. The staff were very professional and friendly and able to answer any question we had. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Our shower was a bit small and awkward to use.
