Great stay, no problems whatsoever, well located

We liked the location, which is close to many historical sites and within a walking distance from some of the shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was large and clean. The lounge downstairs is cozy. Service was great, we didn't have to wait for anything.

The internet was slow and would drop the connection at times. There was some outside noise that we could hear (maybe from the corridor, maybe from rooms close to ours). We tried to get breakfast downstairs but there was no room for us.

We would come back again!

Room was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the wine happy hour each afternoon. Location was great for our purposes. Restaurant had delicious food.

Heavenly location, hellish furniture

Location, decor, soaking tub and decor.

The mattress nearly ruined my entire honeymoon. So stiff it put a crick in my neck. Other complaints are small no delivery room service, which should be standard at a lux hotel. And the TV. Basic cable no streaming.

perfect location - perfect decoration - lack of elegant restaurant

Room and bath was spacious, originally decorated and really comfortable. The hotel lounge is particularly spectacular

The disappointing decoration of the attached restaurant. The lack of facilities in the bedroom (no tea boiler for instance)

A beautiful building with helpful, polite staff, but disappointing not to have our rooms cleaned.

The building is lovely. I really enjoyed reading in the lobby early in the morning. The music was great, the furniture beautiful, and the location near Constitution Hall was incredible.

The room was a bit small. We had two big beds, so there wasn't a lot of space. No one cleaned our rooms either of the two nights we were there. I thought the first time was a misunderstanding with the lady cleaning on our floor. I returned to our room to get my medicine and she said something to me about cleaning our room. I thought she was questioning whether I wanted her to clean it. I told her I'd be right out after I got my medicine. I think she took me to mean that I didn't want it cleaned. I called reception that night to make sure it would be cleaned the next day, but we returned to unmade beds the second day as well. I'm not really sure what happened. It's a shame because having fresh towels and sheets is nice when you're saying in a hotel. And it wasn't cheap, so that was a bit disappointing.
