Pissamorne is such a great person to stay with.

Mrs Pissamorn is so so helpful , friendly and full of good advice. Years of experience in the hotel business. Now runs this charming guest house from her home.She arranges everything, drivers, tours, taxis, even medicine for my stomach aches.

Perfect stay, amazing staff!

Definitely recommend! Pissamorn House is the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Chiang Mai. Not only is the location perfectly situated in the old town, the rooms extremely clean, charming and well-kept. Pissamorn herself also provided all of her guests with unlimited bottled water, biscuits, bananas and hot drinks during our stay. In the dining room, we also had access to a toaster, microwave, cutlery and a dining table. On arrival, Pissamorn let us in and offered us a run-through on the local attractions and how to get to them. We accepted and she kindly sat down with us for around 30 minutes - she was so helpful and a brilliant story teller too. We then had a break in our Chiang Mai stay as we were going on an overnight excursion, and during that Pissamorn kindly allowed us to leave our bags on her property at no extra charge. On our second arrival after our overnight excursion, Pissamorn waited up late for us as I hadn't seen the message on booking.com, which was so kind of her. We felt truly at home at Pissamorn House and I can't recommend staying there enough.

We liked Mrs Pissamorn who served us exceptionally. We particularly liked the new kitchen that allowed us to prepare our own food with several bonuses on the house. We had the privilege of being the first group to use the kitchen and it was very well organised with all that you would need in a kitchen at home. We were also given good advice on places to visit and how to get there.

Good value in the low season

The owner is nice and always around to help. The place is quiet and central to most interesting things in the historical center. Wat Phra Singh, one of several stunning temples in Chiang Mai, is around the corner.

The stairs are a bit problematic, especially carrying luggage. I visited in August, which is low season, so I got a room for about 25 usd a night. In the high season (November to March), the rates are higher, so I'm not sure if it would be worth it to book a hotel room then.
