Stay was good but bookings.com did not honour what we asked for

We said we would pay at the hotel but Bookings.com still still took out the cost for the hotel after we paid at the hotel. Had to chase this up and the full refund was not paid back - there was a $10 difference.

Superb

Excellent retreat for the year-end vacation with family.

It was one of the best buffet breakfasts I have had in the recent past in comparable level of hotels. The outdoor tables were particularly nice, especially those stretched out into the pool. The staff was always friendly and easy to access.

More deck chairs could have been provided at the pool side. We had to put towels and other stuff at the pool side when we went to swimming.

Cocooned in comfort

Staff were fantastic, food was great, loved the adults only infinity pool on 5th floor, the gym and spa well laid out and equipped. New Years Eve celebration was outstanding - an incredible feast together with stunning fireworks at midnight to farewell a for us sad and difficult year and to usher in a more hopeful one.

Minor issues only Occasionally had to ask for replenishment of water and toilet paper when overlooked by housekeeping. Lifts a little slow and sometimes crowded

Ok but not great

The quality of the food was excellent but the range was poor especially for vegetarians. The pool was ok but there were too few loungers. The gym was excellent.

The food offering for vegetarians was very poor, the showers were tepid and the water was not hot enough for the entire stay. This is more like an average 4 star than a 5 star hotel.

Great 3 night stay at PARKROYAL. Hotel is new and has a number of facilities. One thing that we felt for sure that the staff were trying their level best to ensure customers satisfaction; this was unique in Malaysia considering that many five star hotels honestly dont care about your stay or any comments that you may have.

Happy but disappointed

Good facility. Great view

The staff was very unprofessional. They did not change the towel correctly for all days and I had to call service to correct them. They asked me to put my laundry to the reception and pay first. I had never heard such hospitality in a 5-star hotel.

Everything was exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay from the first moment to the last. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Location is near some restaurants and shops. Nice pool and beach. Kids club was great. We enjoyed everything

Nice place.

Nice room with a good view. Fantastic bathroom. Fabulous breakfast.

Too few sunbeds. There ought to be a rooftop bar by the second floor. Too bad that the layout of the hotel doesnt give the feeling of brewing by the sea side.
