Great place, staff are lovely.

Lovely place, staff are great, nothing is too much trouble. Pool and hot tub are lovely. I've stayed once before and liked it so much, it was the first place I thought of.

Can't think of anything I didn't like, even the car park has a sea view.

Looks are deceiving

*Carpark, although small, and we ended up on the street outside. *location for the beach. *Steam room *Towels available for the pool and clear bags for wet swimwear. *If you know what to expect, you won't necessarily be disappointed. Just dont judge the inside by the immaculate view on the outside!

*Deluxe double rooms are family rooms!! (A double bed and a single bed in a double sized room! *Sizeable gap underneath the bedroom door! *Bedroom door kept opening, so had to lock it each time. *The black/grey room looks good, but it's on the ground floor, no net curtains, and staff parking out the front window. *The dressing table can only fit the coffee tray and kettle on. *The pool was quite cold, has a bunch of rules, and you 'sign in' to use it, so your details are now available to all hotel guests that pass through the lobby. *The details of evening reservations for the restaurant were listed by room and full names/details of guests stuck to the door for all to see. *You must be seated 30 minutes before your table reservation. *No extraction in the bathroom *No net curtains in the bedroom *Awful colour scheme, brown beds, brown floor, brown curtains. *Curtains velcro'd onto the wall. * 15-inch TV with remote *Shower in the mens changing rooms broken, trickling water.

Location.

Personally, I found the staff a little unfriendly. Everything seemed to be an effort. Could see we were struggling with bags, no help was offered. Asked if we could have a table for dinner (restaurant was empty) & told to wait. Just abit of an unfriendly approach. The room was incredibly small, dated and overpriced for what we paid. & the breakfast was also a little basic for the value of money.

Very Poor Indeed. The worst I have hotel in a while.

Value for money

Very Old fashioned.Facilities toilet and shower very dated and limited in space.. No heating available on a cold night except mini Electric heater. Really poor room despite good price. Staff poor Would NOT recommend this hotel

Delightful stay

It was very clean with a lovely spa. Room was basic and dated but had everything I needed and very comfortable. Staff was helpful and polite. The food in the restaurant was excellent lovely walk to the cost through the park. Would stay again.

Exceptional

We stayed in the Donaldson suite which was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful room, very clean, classy and cosy! Huge bath in our bedroom and a balcony with beautiful views. This room is definitely a 5* room. We didn't have time to use the spa and restaurant facilities but it all looked exceptional and the reception staff was really warm and friendly. We will definitely be returning and will then make time to use the spa, swimming pool and restaurant, also the big games room!

We could not find fault with this perfect hotel!
