The Moxy Minneapolis Uptown is a Marriott hotel with a self-serve concept. The lobby has a popular bar and a hip atmosphere. The rooms are small but well-designed, with comfortable beds and nice bath (Read More)rooms. The hotel offers 24/HR self-service snacks and drinks, but lacks a restaurant. The staff is attentive and helpful. The location is unbeatable, with plenty of nearby activities and walkability. Overall, guests had a fantastic stay and would return for the convenient location and friendly staff.

No hot water for shower! Barely made it past cold. 2 out of 4 people in our group did not shower.

Superb

Hip, cool place in the Lynlake district.

It definitely leans heavily into the hip/cool/unconventional vibe, but not in a way that put off my older self. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean, and the location is good. There are several nice coffee shops a couple blocks down the street, and Lyndale and its bars and restaurants aren't too far away (we walked there).

I wish the bathroom had better soundproofing, because the barn door doesn't really do a great job in that respect, and don't we all want just a little privacy sometimes. There is no on-site parking, which was a surprise, but the street parking out front was never a problem and a lot cheaper than a garage.

A charming minimalist boutique hotel, taking on the vibe of the surrounding community (Uptown).

Staff were amazing. Location was perfect. Room was quaint, minimalist chic, but just a wee bit noisy. Sounds from the hall seemed like they originated inside the room, at times.

Atmosphere, near the venue.

Our heat didn't work, called and they sent up blankets. Called in the morning, said they would give us Marriott points, they said it happens, loved the hotel, but should have been refunded partially or fully.
