Very expensive for what you actually receive.

The staff were very helpful. They organised the collection of some items which were left at another hotel.

Breakfast was pretty average interms of quality. It was a typical buffet set up but replenishment seemed to take for ages. Rooms not great and location, whilst not bad is not great either.

Its very terrific!

The hotel has an oriental feel to it and it really cosy and clean. Not having much expectations on the room, we were surprised at how sparkly clean and spacious the room is. There is enough room to walk around and opening our 2 29 luggage. Given the reasonably priced room, there was even onsen facility. I would definitely recommend Mitsui Garden!

Would stay again. Recommended for families and groups.

Location is good, convenience store just a few steps away. Bus Stop to Kyoto Station is just a few steps away. Room was spacious. We had a double room and a triple room. Both were great. There is also an Onsen. Hotel offers free storage before our arrival. Hotel also offers baggage delivery service to Kyoto Station for 500 yen a piece on the day of departure if you want hands free experience to the station. Esp useful.

Location good. Breakfast excellent (2200 Y)

Tiny rooms - claustrophobic; Japanese bath ok, probably below agerage Only 2 Washer/dryers for the entire hotel - each with 2 hour cycle - so very hard to get your laundry done
