Superb

Fantastic hotel in quiet location

The hotel is in a great location with a village feel although it's very close to the Oxford city centre. The room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly wishing us a merry Xmas. Apart from the breakfast which was excellent we ate a very good lunch and dinner at the hotel. It's easy to get into Oxford city centre, either by bus or taxi but there is a lovely walk along the river which takes about 45 minutes. We would definitely stay there again.

Cosy, comfy and quiet

Didnt eat here but the room was lovely. Bed was super comfy, nice and quiet location with free parking but still close enough to town. Staff were lovely really helpful and welcoming.

Hotel was lovely,breakfast was amazing and glutenfree is catered for really well.staff were very friendly & helpful especially wendy who gave us some great tips on bus travel and places to visit. Overall the hotel was very welcoming and finished to a high standard.will definitely return for future visits.

Overall it was an amazing stay all their services and staff were amazing only issue is cleanliness

Everything was amazing, although I didn't stay in my room or the hotel as much due to me exploring oxford as it was my first time there. The hotel experience was amazing. The staff was fantastic, super kind, super helpful, answered all my questions and assisted me for all the troubles I've meet. The breakfast service was great, they served pretty standard meal choices for a breakfast and had a large variety to pick from. As soon as I arrived the receptionist had started telling me about the property such as being in good and quiet location which was completely correct, trips to the center or Westgate were great and their partnered taxi service made it so easy to travel, we ended up using the taxi service app the majority of our trip due to how affordable and trustworthy it was, just like this stay.

It wasn't super clean, I never really noticed or would have noticed unless my wife pointed things out such as the sink being dirty having orange stains, the tea kettle having left over grime and a white residue, and the sheets being reused over and over again. Another issue was my wife had an accident on the floor as she over ate as when I requested special floor cleaning due to us leaving as she felt better, we return to the same stains and smell that was left before.
