I wont recommend

Few staffs are helpful

There are lot of things to start with, rooms are not well checked and my room had plumbing issues, housekeeping was bad they missed toiletries each time and didnt check the shower gel being empty or not, food service in orchid take time for live counter, even the tv volume was minimal they other guest who had issue complaint , we requested staff to visit our room to check the volume but they kept calling to lower the volume without validating themselves. Not at all happy as a 5 star property and even after complaining at reception they were unapologetic

Very good property in a great location as heard from my friends.All staff are sincere and courteous as expected .i was thoroughly impressed specially at reception Mr. Prasant, from the moment i arrived make us feel welcome and attended to my every need.We had a memorable experience.thank you all mayfair team.

Good property, but the experience wasn't exactly great!

lovely property, helpful staff. the travel desk was really good! the spa was quite good too.

quite far from Gangtok city center requiring 30-45 min thru slow traffic to get there, which is a disadvantage. hotel didn't provide any refunds or extra services to make up for a cancellation due to medical emergency and given how much we had paid, some consideration would have been appreciated, even though it was hotel policy to not give refunds. water bottles weren't replenished in the room on the second day. and we got stuck in a lift for over 15 mins and the response from the staff could have certainly been better!

The property is nice, rooms are big and clean.

Staff was slow to respond, room call often not reachable, noise in the middle of the night was not contained even after calling multiple times. Food was very average for a 5* hotel.
