Overall, the Malmaison Dundee is praised for its perfect location, lovely restaurant and bar, and beautiful decor. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, such as cracked tiles in the shower and fl (Read More)aking paint. Construction works affected river view rooms. Guests enjoyed spacious, dark rooms with nice views and amenities, but noise from creaking floorboards was a downside. The hotel is undergoing a refresh to brighten up the rooms. Great for a central stay in Dundee.

The room was lovely and comfortable

Cozy everything in room you need

Toilet didn't have good flush system and the tiles on the bathroom floor the grout was loose and missing the shower door had mould along the rim and the room was cold.

Nice views, Better than a travel lodge

Location was perfect

Basic amenities, in room, for $200 a night to have no tea, coffee, or even a bottle of water in the room was poor. The actual room itself was nice enough, big comfortable bed and clean bathroom etc.

I used to believe this was the best place to stay in Dundee. Im less sure now.

Location.

Decor dark, dated and damaged. Distinct stale odour in restaurant area and dirty seats (food crumbs in seat buttons) Creaky floors and bed in bedroom. Rude staff at front door on arrival. Front desk untidy and not what youd expect from a quality hotel

We had a brilliant time room so comfortable

The property was lovely very clean and friendly and helpful staff

We did not like the menu in restaurant but I think that is just our taste

Disappointing

Poor. Unattractive staff. Low quality room.

Location

Creaky floor, uncomfortable bed. When we arrived to check in staff were too busy chatting then receptionist sat down and went onto computer rather than ask if he could assist us.
