Exceptional

Staff were incredibly kind and hospitable. We arrived at 730am tired from the sleeper train and Ma insisted we have breakfast even though we had not paid for the night before. The room was simple and perfect for our needs. Breakfast is 10/10 fried rice or noodles with fresh fruit. Yum .

Perfect stay

I really liked the place itself it has a lot of antique charm and everything was kept super clean but the best were Ma and her team, so welcoming and helpful! Great breakfast and location on top of that. Thank you so much for everything!

Great place with heaps of character, great staff and is overall super good value to top it off

Great place with heaps of character. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great and is situated on the main balcony and you can enjoy the morning, watching passerby as drink coffee and eat.

Room was big and spacious, staff were lovely and there were restaurants and scooter rentals nearby. Close enough to walk to most things, and located right above a salon. Breakfast was simple but lovely

Door lock was a bit hard to figure out, a d the ac was a bit weak, but the fan was more than enough for us

When we arrived, they wanted to show us a cramped and very outdated, loud room. there was supposed to be a shower in the room, but we only found a dirty shared bathroom with cats and cat hair everywhere, which we were not informed about in advance. As I have allergies, we left immediately and struggled to find a new place to stay in the middle of the night. We wanted to ask for the price of the reservation back, the owner first said it was fine, then the next day he changed his mind and refused to refund any of the three days. Booking.com didn't help either (Genius level 3)
