Look and feel and first impression was good but more improvement required to match the price

Location is excellent, next to beach and walkable to key attractions.. hotels look and feel was very good.. it has potential to become very good hotel if more attention is paid to quality of services, cleanliness and amenities in the room.

Balcony was bit dirty , no mirrors in one of the rooms, hairdryers were faulty and would stop after few minutes, some fixture seemed flimsy and falling off, although we loved the vintage look, but we expect things to work and give smooth experience. Staff was good but service could be bit more prompt and engaging.

Very tasty food, courteous and friendly staff, routinely enquiring about the food, stay and anything else that they could help us with. Need to specially mention Sunita at the front desk, Padmini, Aswathi, Ana and all the others whose names I dont know. Will definitely stay here and recommend this place to everyone.

This is a historical building, so cannot expect everything to be up to the standards of a modern building. They have made the most effort to include all the modern elements into a historic building without losing its old world charm.

Really awesome. Rooms were great. Food was awesome but the big kudos goes to the staff. Right from reception to restaurant people to room service, never seen so humble, friendly and always helping with smoke folks. Just 200 meters from beach

Location and staff. First impression of reception and courtyard dinning is good. Staff helpful

Room #2 was tired and smelt like mold. Needed a good clean and paint. floor was filthy, bathroom needed a refit.

dissapointed

the location was good

there were building works next door with loud bangs and drilling, the room was on the ground floor and we were sent to bed and woken up with the sound of cutlery being sorted. the bathroom was dated and grimy, the towels needed to be replaced, the shower was not mounted to the wall.
