Guests praised the friendly front desk team and amazing views at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel. The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated and had a rooftop pool. The rooms were spacious and clean with great (Read More) city and bay views. The staff was kind and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Some guests complained about the noticeable cigarette smell in the hallways, and noise from nearby traffic. Way too expensive, restaurant too pricey and just ok

Location although after paying high dollars my view and room was just ok

The staff was rude and the checkin time was 4, they gave us out room at 4.10, we were a bit early at 3.40 pm and they could not help with an early checkin we had mentioned having 2 kids, but the sheets and blankets were not in the room

Great for one or two nights

Excellent service and staff were friendly. Great add-ons. Nice touches like social hour, cookies for the children.

The room and particularly bathroom was more budget end. Limited amenities, no in-room coffee, however it was available in several places around the hotel. Bathroom was tired looking and felt budget.

will find a better option

the staff is very helpful ,taking into account how busy the hotel is. the complimentary coffee, hot choclate in cetain times in lobby is not a common occurance even free wine between 5 and 6 pm makes them unique.

i did not like the room . paying around 300 euros a night,you expect a room full of working amenities. [a] safe in room does't work. [b] no complimentary coffee /tea making facilities. [c] water bottles @ 10 usd per 1 litre bottles. [d]pillows very soft , although we demanded different ones. [e]sliding door in room very stiff to slide [f]lighting in room very poor [g]no shower gel in bathroom...had to use shampoo instead.

Would visit again

The staff was extremely pleasant, especially Angel at the front desk who checked us in, the general atmosphere at the Hotel was great from the warm welcome to the pleasant goodbyes.

Would have liked to have had someone take us to our room and show us around, explained just a few things about what's offered and how basic things operate being that it was out first time here.

A lot of money for little in return

I didn't like a whole lot.

Here's a list: -a lot of traffic at the hotel The hotel feels and looks a bit run down and would benefit from a face-lift or a new fitout. -rooms and bathroom had mold -pool so high uo that it becomes impossible to use the facility due to strong winds. - location smack in the middle of brickell which is chaotic getting around. I'll stay elsewhere next time...
