Review 1: The JW Marriott Tampa Water Street is a great hotel with efficient valet parking and upgraded rooms. The concierge lounge is well-run and welcoming. The staff on the top floor and at Beacon (Read More) were nice and helpful. The only regret is not being able to stay longer and enjoy all the outlets. Review 2: Highly recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway. The staff, especially Ashley at the front desk, made the experience special. The rooftop bar is a great hangout spot, and the Six restaurant was amazing. The room is modern and the views are great. Overall, a perfect experience with zero complaints. Review 3: Amazing stay at the Marriott with breathtaking views from the room. The room itself was comfortable with a work desk. The lounge and meeting rooms were great for socializing and collaborating, with delicious breakfast and lunch options. The in-house restaurants were also excellent. The swimming pool area had unmatched views. Review 4: Absolutely beautiful hotel! The only issue was the billing. The $30 credits were not applied correctly, but the staff fixed it before departure. The location is central, and the hotel blends luxury and comfort seamlessly. Well-appointed rooms and excellent amenities. Review 5: The JW Marriott in Tampa is always enjoyable, but this last stay was exceptional. The exceptional service from Evelyn and the fantastic suite made it a great treat. The new rooftop bar was a nice addition, and the valet staff was welcoming. Will definitely be back. Review 6: Great stay overall, but one issue with terrible service at the pool. The server forgot items, and there were limited and unhealthy options on the pool menu. Looking forward to going back regardless. The operator was rude and unhelpful. Though the manager tried to rectify the treatment later, the overall experience was disheartening. Review 8: Had a great weekend at the JW Marriott with enjoyable pool and restaurant experiences. The view from the room and pool deck was amazing. The valet staff, especially Erin and Bernard, provided exceptional customer service. Adam called for feedback after the visit, showing great professionalism.

Great location, clean hotel.

Breakfast was great the restaruant in the hotel. The hotel was ery clean.

The hose on the shower did not work, but maintenance said they would get it fixed.

Excellent and relaxing

Great. This is our 3 year in a row that we stayed with you. Every time our stay gets better. Kionte welcomed us and what a wonderful, kind and understanding man. He helped me with my cell phone, and he looked into some weird charges that showed up . His hospitality was excellent . He remembered my husband and I all the time and would address us by our names . I walk with a walker and he was so understanding that I cant stand for a long time so he would move us to a couch or a more comfortable chair to sit on when addressing my bill. You are very lucky to have Kionte as an employee. We are looking forward to see him next year. The other person that was wonderful to us was Roxanne at the bar in the lobby. Besides making great cocktails she has a wonderful personality. This was our first time having her wait on us and what a fantastic job she did. Her personality just shines with that beautiful smile . We felt like we have known each other for years. Between Roxann and Kionte we feel like we have some very good friends at your Marriott. We will be back next year and I hope these two wonderful people are still there.

I did have a problem with the Wi-Fi all the while we were there. It would only connect in the lobby. That was very frustrating.

I loved this hotel and would stay there again when visiting the Tampa area!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate with all the amenites and a wonderful and luxurious shower. I loved it. The food was pricey but delicious! Room service was exceptional. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this wonderful property to everyone.

I wish they would not charge for parking.

Superb

Great location, lovely Tampa bay views and excellent convenience to the convention center

Ashley went out of the way to help change out my room to a higher floor. When I first checked in- I was placed on a floor with a direct view of the hotel roof making the room extremely hot and noisy. I called and Ashley was able to accommodate my request and offered to change my room to the 16th floor. I expressed my disappointment in the current room and she understood my frustration. So kudos Ashley for excellent customer service!

Housekeeping is not prompt and had to call a few times to have them clean my room. Coffee machine needs an upgrade
