The InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong offers great value for money with a fantastic location near the bay. While the rooms may need renovations, the hotel still provides good service and a su (Read More)mptuous breakfast. The Intercontinental Club Floor is recommended for its comfortable and advantageous lounge benefits. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the MTR station and offers beautiful sea views. Some guests noted that they had to make their own cocktails during evening cocktails. Overall, it was a good experience and they would consider returning.

okey but below expectations, other hotels do better.

It is a good location.

The lobby and the room was kept cold - it is not welcoming. Coffee service in the room is well below a standard for 5 stars hotels. Reception service was not accomodating, may be because they were kind of forced to work wearing winter coats, very strange. The cleaning service was reducing the room temperature after every cleaning, so it was not nice to come back to a cold room. Rooms and bathroom are small and kind of oudated. The hotel is overpriced compared to other hotels in the area.

Excellent hotel, location, price wise all good..

All went well/ b/f was a variety of choices, and it was great, we booked a larger room for three of us, and it was spacious and had enough space to move around. Location is very easily accessible for all major malls, transport , food etc.

We have to wait for some time to have an early check-in, but it is understandable with availability. However, the staff did their best to deliver at least half an hour before.

Soured by having to pay twice for your system

Paid for the executive room with breakfast in the lounge F1 but on the first day thought it said business centre so went for breakfast on floor M. Would have been helpful if the manager told us we could use floor 1, so we ate breakfast each day on M.

On check in I paid for the 5 nights plus a deposit. Total of 16,000 HKD. When I checked out with a bill of 14,500 HKD I was asked to pay again instead of a refund. The first 16,000 went straight into your bank as it was a debit card. It clearly says 'debit card' on it but your check in staff didn't alert me to the fact they just wanted to hold a security on a credit card until I checked out. Adding insult to injury I was then told it will take 4 weeks to get my money back. It is your system and your responsibility to operate it properly. You made the mistake but I had to pay twice! As the 16,000 was already in your bank, it would only take a simple accounting journal to correct the problem and refund my deposit. As of today, the refund has not arrived. I paid for the executive lounge and its features but never used them. All in all, not impressed and would like your comments.

Superb

My daughter enjoyed the bathtub, it was clean. The breakfast Buffet was also good which we all enjoyed.

Just the Showerhead had some sharp edges which my wife had a cut on her right thumb.I suggest look into these facilities so that it won't harm any other guest in the future.
