Impressive Punta Cana

We went for the premium package with a butler service, expecting something special. But right from the start, things went south. The butler we got was way out of line, he was aggressive both verbally and physically. He nearly injured me. We thought the hotel management would step up and sort things out, especially since I was there with my family, but no. They did nothing, took zero responsibility and let the employee continue working around us. This was the worst customer service we experienced. I will not recommend this place at all. The incident happened on day 1 and ruined our whole experience.

- Got assigned a room different than the one I had booked and found this out only when got into room (why don't you tell guest about this in the first place during check in?) went back to front desk to tell about the issue and instead of saying "sorry for the inconvenience" receptionist was trying to convince me that everything is fine and that's how things work in this hotel, after 20 mins discussion finally got the right room - not very nice first impression. - The food in the buffet was average at best(except for the NY eve). They have 5 a la carte restaurants but all of them were sold out all the time, barely was able to book one via their system(1 time slot was available on 1 day), when showed up got told that they don't have my reservation but luckily got seated anyway, I was in Mexican restaurant and somehow food was even worse than in the buffet. - Didn't enjoy pushy people selling cheap jewelry and other stuff on the hotel premises even though there are several shops in the hotel for this. - Front desk never picks up the phone. - I had arranged for luggage assistance for checkout but nobody showed up to help, had to take bags to the reception by myself.

The beach was the only thing that was nice . I upgraded my room for 500 dollars more on top of my booking price and I didnt get any of the accommodations that came along with that specific service. Therefore I didnt experience any room service . The room was never fully cleaned meanwhile I stayed. The resort was way over booked. I will never stay on the property again and I wouldnt refer this resort to anyone. Horrible experience and all to top off everything I ended up getting cursed out by a guy that works at the front desk and he told me to speak to him in Spanish . Which I dont know how to speak Spanish. He was upset at me and spoke to me in a aggressive manor because i denied paying $60 for the beach towels that I had left in my room.
