Incredibly beautiful stay. Out of a movie

Our stay here was out of a movie. Just after we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of champagne, a red rose for my wife and some chocolate from the house. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to the room we booked. We got a very nice bungalow with an incredible view. They remembered it was my wifes birthday and we got an amazing dinner at the A la carte restaurant with more roses, an entire bottle of champagne and they got my wife a cake and sang her Happy birthday at the end of the night. The beaches and the surroundings of the property are just amazing, very beautiful. The food was very very good and you had a lot of options. All in all an incredible and perfect vacation. The only thing we regret is not having booked more days there. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful area , lots of pools to escape from the family pools. Loved the small beach areas and the coffee shop in the rocks.

A little further than I thought from Rethymon. The area where the Bbq nights were held was a lovely spot it was a shame you couldnt go there at anytime.

Fantastic hotel with nice beaches. Beautiful garden with hundreds of palm trees and leanders. You can walk even an hour without going the same route. Excellent food in big variety at all meals. Helpful staff and enjoyable show each evening.

In half-board beverages are not included at dinner, except water.

Proper 5 Star Resort!

The resort deserves 5 stars! Huge beautiful territory, very clean and well maintained. Well organized facilities! Lagoons are not naturally made, but very well designed and make their job. No waves at any sea state and the water is crystal clean at all the times. The food is at the good level! Always fresh and tasty with lots of varieties Maine restaurant offers different international cuisine for the dinner. Good alcoholic drinks for all inclusive, with the known brands and proper amount of alcohol! The staff is fabulous! Always smiling, always friendly and makes the guest feel special. Ready to help with any descent or the smallest issue. Animation is at the high level! Fluent at many languages and every evening you could expect to be entertained by comic show, concert, dance show or a fire show Safe and free of charge private parking. Stunning sea view from nearly every part of resort!!!

Trip to Crete 2023

The staff and overall atmosphere at this location were simply amazing. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff members. I felt genuinely welcomed. The food was pretty tasty and there was plenty of variety. I cannot rave enough about this property. The grounds are beautiful. I truly enjoyed my stay.

Breakfest was fine. Location and scenery was beautiful. Hotel staff was friendly.

If dinner is included in price then consider that they charge you for cheap box wine and fresh juice. In middle of dinner they run to you with check. For a sake please let me finish my meal or add some signs what is included and what is extra. Oh no i dont know if this shrimp is included or the lady with checkbook hunts me down again. Pools are closed so early because lifeguard duty ends - most time he was watching movies from phone, then got bored and left for over a hour. There was clear sings that no jumping in kids pool but nobody cared about it and lifeguard was also sleepy. There was sings everywhere that reservations for sunbeds are prohibited but nobody seems to care about it. 7.30 am there was towels in every sunbed and hotel staff did not seem to care about it. The room - wow it was banger. Toilet door all most fell of the hinges, all the rooms was very worn. I have been better 3-star hotels in India - i think that tells it all.

Superb

Stunning cove and sunset views!

The facilities were great, specially the cove and the pool areas. Great selection of food. For my birthday I was gifted with a beautiful cake and champagne by the hotel, which was a lovely treat!

No iron or iron board available, which wasn't ideal.

Disappointing

A very disappointing experience. Very poor by comparison to other hotels we have used.

Stunningly beautiful gardens. Majority of staff were welcoming and kind. General manager was very accessible and made genuine effort to resolve issues.

General condition of room was very poor. Decor was dated and looked a bit tired. Apparently 70% of Iberostar properties have been refurbished recently, but clearly not this one. Very few plug sockets - none with USB socket. In room safe too small to take a laptop and at an extra charge of 3 Euro per day. Mattress was foam which I was very surprised to find. A "topper" was added but was only a small improvement to a very poor bed. T.V had very limited channels, predominately current affairs and very limited in English. Wi-Fi so poor that at times was not useable. Air con effective but old unit which was not quiet enough. Nothing supplied in mini bar, not even water. (We were "All Inclusive"). Toilet seat in bathroom broken. Main restaurant food was poor. Hot buffet not hot enough and no warmed plates. Soft drinks were all full sugar other than "Pepsi Max". House wine was not at all pleasant. Egg station was very poor; all eggs cooked "over easy", request for "sunny side up" declined. Omelette made from weak mixture, no pre-cooking of ;ham, peppers, onions, before adding to the griddle. Advised at check in all other A la Care restaurants fully booked. Intervention from General Manager needed in order to obtain a place. (Food here was much better but, hot food served on stone cold plates.) Sunbeds at main pool all reserved by same guests with towels despite clear instruction not to do so.
