Overall it was great, and well be back!

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the exceptional front desk manager (I wish I could remember his name so I could give a shout out!) our trip was off to a great start. Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. Our room was lovely, very comfortable and we had a great view of the Pike area and Queen Mary. Bonus is its walking distance to tons of restaurants and sights.

We arent early risers, but Golds Gym is - and they like their music. But the hotel cant control that.

Disappointing

Needs improvement

I liked the location, the bed was soft and the pillows cozy. The refrigerator in the room was a nice touch.

I checked in and no one greeted me at the door. I asked for a service attendant to help load our luggage on the cart and was informed that the bellboy quit. My husband had to load the cart and haul it to the room. No water offered for the extra effort. Informed the staff that my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, the attendant did not recommend any places for dinner, or even congratulate us in any way. Explained that I was recently diagnosed with cancer and wanted a quiet room to sit and reflect in. I was assigned a room overlooking the parking lot and sidewalk. I was woke up by loud drums and people protesting outside my window everyday. Learned that the hospitality was on strike. The hallway leading up to our room never got vacuumed during our entire stay. The drain in the bathroom was surrounded by rust and the tile looked like it has grime in between it. I have videos of the protest but the file was too large to upload.

Staff dont care about return business. Nice place but poorly run. Got thrown out of the pool area as booked for a meeti

Decor good. Facilities not so good. Werent allowed to use the pool as it was booked for a meeting in that area. So what do we get for the amenities charge? Restaurant facility very poor.

Disappointing

The view of the room sucks and the room itself is perfunctory.

The staff are excellent - always friendly and always greeted with a welcoming smile. They also attended to all my request. We didn't use any room service or house keeping but it wasn't necessary.

The room - I think the room I stayed in (219) is probably the worst room in the entire hotel. The window opened to a row of air conditioners and there was constant humming. The screen on the window was also partially detached.

Great place if you are going to an event in the area.

Location was the reason for this hotel

Pillows on the bed new to be replaced they are worn out. When i went to place one pillow into the other pillow realized that they had no pillow protectors on them.
