Very good

The Hotel has a perfect location to visit the Taj Mahal. It is in walking distance and we could book the ticket for the Taj directly in the hotel. I very much enjoyed the dinner at the roof top restaurant. Great atmosphere with local traditional music and excellent food!

Beware of the food! Avoid eating there

Perfectly situation, 10 mn's walk from the Taj

I stayed in this hotel last January, and it had been an excellent stay. One year later, it has already started to run down. Room without window, doors not closing properly, questionable cleanliness. Worst of all: the food... Once I ordered some mutton and was served some overboiled chicken in a tasteless gravy. The next day I had the stupid idea to order a veg sandwich. Conseqence of it: I was sick as a dog, vomiting all night. Conclusion: there are some definite improvement to be made in this hotel, particularly its restaurant.

The New Year's Eve party wasn't too good. Quite a bit on the pricey side for what it's worth. Food below average for breakfast and the new year's eve party.

Rude staff, bad service, not even one star hotel

Walking distance to Taj mahal

1. Staff was horrible. Most of them were ok but a significant number of staff were discriminating. For example most of them will greet a good morning or good evening to white guests only (not to Indian people) 2. While checking out, the man at reception started talking in a rude tone. Saying he doesn't have confirmation of our payment. In reality they deducted an amount from my bank before I checked in. He forced me to show deduction from my bank account and until then didn't allow us to leave the hotel. 3. Very noisy refrigerator in room 4. Thin walls don't allow you to sleep in peace. You can literally hear people snoring in the next room 5. Breakfast was not so good, the breakfast room was also very old and dark. 6. The room temperature was very bad, no ventilation, no window. They kept some noisy air filter in the room which said the filter capacity was 0%. 7. You can hardly reach reception on the phone, not available for most of the time 8. No room cleaning after the first night. You expect some minimum cleaning for a 4 star hotel. 9. The water boiler in the room was not working properly. It will keep boiling water forever unless you manually switch off. Moreover the handle of the boiler will get as hot as water, it can burn you if not careful.

Very outdated hotel, beds feel old and worn. The air in the rooms feels dusty and stale. You are better staying somewhere else in Agra. Breakfast was inedible, all pre cooked food left on hot plates. Toast was cold and wasnt allowed fresh bread

The position and the general ambiance of the hotel.

Breakfast (limited options for non-Indians); staff was kind but like all over Rajasthan, they were continuously asking - almost pushing - us to leave a good feedback about our stay.

Exceptional

Fantastic hotel so close to Taj Mahal

Location, location, location. This is a fantastic hotel, in the perfect spot, just a short 800 metre walk from the East Gate of the Taj Mahal. The room was very nice and perfectly clean, whilst the restaurant provided excellent good value food that fitted our dietary needs. Everyone was so helpful and kind throughout, nothing was ever too much trouble. They genuinely do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

I genuinely can't think of anything we didn't like.
