Superb

Centrally located. Easy to hire cabs. Amazing host and staff. - very attentive and helpful with their suggestions. Breakfast is more a snack than a meal and helps with an early start. Clean beds and bathrooms.

The only piece of feedback I have is that the bathtub is shaped rather oddly - when one gets out of the shower one must be very careful to not slip on the curved surface of the tub : that coupled with the high tub rim level can make egress a little complicated.

Lovely hostel with a very friendly staff. Clean and cosy. Perfect location. It's easy to get there from the airport. Very comfy beds. I was positively surprised and I would definitely book it again. I highly recommend this place:)

Hostal is amazing - in good location, clean with all amenities needed. Breakfast has been given to us and coffee and tea available all the time. But my biggest compliments are for the staff of this hostal - they gave us directions, instructions and kept our bags while we were running around.

Great location in the safe neighborhood but the room could be a bit larger.

Great location in the safe neighborhood. The common spaces with a coffee machine and sitting area are very comfy and useful. Solid market and a few nice restaurants nearby. Catalunya Square is just a 5-minute walk. You can visit a lot of attractions and stores by walking. The Metro station is nearby, too.

The room should be a bit larger. Strange view from our room to the other building. There is a stairway before you get into the elevator which is not convenient if you have a lot of luggage. The elevator is also pretty small.

Fantastic location. Very clean and finely scented room. Nice coffee machine and microwave in the communal area. Staff was very kind, helpful, and responsive. They offer earplugs and breakfast snacks. The external bathroom is also very well maintained and has a bathtub.

It would have been even better if there was small soap at the washbasin in the single room. The entrance area feels a bit deserted and one might feel strange first. The location on the Google Map is slightly different from the actual entrance (further north by two-three doors).

Absolutely wonderful

This is such a special hostel - more like a hotel really, but with a warm, comfy feel. I loved the sitting area with its coffee table and book selection, as well as the paperbag of breakfast with myname on it and the weather for the day. The staff went out of their way to help me with the next days trip. I loved the modern decor and centrality of the hotel. But mostly I appreciated the little booklet with Barcelonas weirdest historical anecdotes.Such a personal touch! I will surely go again!

Good location, basic facilities and a bit dangerous for eldery people

Location, location, location. The italian receptionist was SO kind! Coffee machine.

The access to the lift posed a significant challenge due to a flight of steps, proving quite inconvenient for guests with substantial luggage. The shower area, while functional, was rather cramped and seemed to pose a safety risk, particularly for elderly guests (my partner). A noticeable and potentially hazardous step located between the bed and the desk area near the window warrants attention. My partner nearly tripped on it multiple times, indicating a serious safety concern that should be addressed. Noise levels within the hotel were consistently high, necessitating the use of earplugs for a peaceful night's sleep. The workspace provided was somewhat limited. While the desk was adequate, the accompanying chair lacked comfort, hindering extended periods of use. Regarding the breakfast options, although not included in the room rate, it would be a thoughtful gesture to offer a healthier complimentary option, such as an apple (instead of a cake).

Clean, fresh and great location

it was as central as it could get. Just by Placa Catalunya but still a street behind it so one does not hear the trafic as much. The building and the staircase seemed old at first site but once getting inside the hostel it is renovated and the actual rooms and inside it was very fresh, clean and really nice. You get a muffin and a coffee,/tea which is nice. It had a nice seating area where one can have breakfast. Not an actual kitchen but still enough for a few days. It was clean and even had a small balcony if you are a smoker. The staff is so kind and friendly and we only stayed one night but we could have stayed longer. Nice place for couples or friends who are there a few days.
