Poor

Location was good, but management needs some hospitality education

There was full on renovation and we were not advised prior. The hotel manager did not even think to apologize when we complained about works and noise in the corridors. Even the lady at the reception was very rude and ironic at check in, she would not even listen us.

Fairly good size room,apparently recently refurbished ,very warm.

Small breakfast room,limited breakfast choices but most importantly,the hotel was being rennov ated and during breakfast time workers and painters were working in the kitchen and dining place,carrying stairs and tools and.....

Great staying

Excellent staff. Metro station is really close. Rooms were very clean.

Shower temperature was not constant. The shower area was not sealed, the bathroom floor got wet after every use. The breakfast was not ready at the beginning time. The entrance of the hotel does not has ramp.

Spoiled family vacation

Location of the hotel was good, rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was average.

Stayed with a large family. 9 Adults and 3 kids. Booked 5 rooms months in advance. We had free cancelation up to 3 days before our booking. We arrive at the Hotel to find they are renovating, we were not informed at any point before hand and the hallways looked a bit haunted. If we were told we could have changed hotels. However when we brought it up they said we can cancel the the reservation and they will refund us and we can find another hotel. That is not feasible with such a large family with baggage, kids and elderly over and above that how does one find accommodation at such short notice and at a reasonable price. They have refused to provide any compensation and to take any accountability. Look at the pics and come to your own conclusion. But the service with regards to this has soured our experience.

Unwelcoming, unpleasant and disappointing

I liked the location of the hotel.

The hotel was being renovated while we were there. We were not notified beforehand of the renovations being done. We arrived quite late after our train trip with a large group of people (9 adults and 3 kids), to see that they were in the middle of renovations. There was plastic covering the railings and the entire carpet, it was dirty, dusty and and smelled of paint. The stairs were hazard, as they didn't tack down the plastic protector so it was very easy to trip and fall. I woke up twice to a man painting the hallway as I went down to breakfast. There were bits of renovations equipment just left in the hallways. There were electrical wiring hanging out of the walls. The front desk manager wasn't understanding at all, simply said "please bear with us, as we are doing renovations". The staff weren't friendly, seemed a little upset to be there themselves. The breakfast wasn't good. I understand its a small hotel, but it was clear they didn't have enough staff to prep for the people staying there. A couple was at breakfast before us, and was still waiting on some breakfast items to be prepared. Overall it was really unpleasant to stay in a hotel that is half finished when you have come there on holiday. There was no compensation from the hotel or actual apology from the manager. He said that there were no safety hazards and their renovations are cosmetic so it wasn't an issue.

Location ideal for the match

Location and comfort for what we needed were bang on.

There was renovation going on at the hotel so painters etc where in didnt really bother us but not told anything about this in advance. Shower head in room did not stay in place so you had to hold it to have a shower
