The pool unfortunately was not working so we had to drive to the Resident inn for my grandkids to swim. That was inconvenient.

I noticed an additional $12 charge on top of what was quoted by Booking.com (whos quote total included taxes). I called the hotel and spoke to a lady who said we were charged over $3 a day for parking. I told her that this was not disclosed to us at any time before our stay by Booking.com or the hotel that we would be charged for this. The lady agreed the charges were ridiculous and she works there. I pointed out how the hotel is not downtown and is in a wide open mostly vacant business parkway. 90% of the parking lot was vacant during our stay. If I knew we were as guests being charged to park in the parking lot we would not have stayed there or simply parked on the street. They are scamming people with the add on fees and making thousands at the expense of guests who are not noticing the slight difference. I do not recommend this hotel or Hampton Inns.

The facility was clean, had nice amenities and very quiet.

Staff was not so great. Tried to check in early (2pm) and the front desk guy told us that our room wasn't ready. When asked how long before it would be ready, he said around 3:30pm. Check in was at 3pm. The whole time we were trying to check in, he was on the phone handling personal business. So, we had to find something to do for an hour until our room was ready. When we came back more than an hour later, our room wasn't ready. So, we had to switch rooms. Then asked housekeeping for extra pillows, and never got them.

Very good

The breakfast spread was great. The staff were polite and very accommodating.

The hotel was a bit too isolated for my liking. There were no restaurants or grocery stores anywhere around it. I was a bit disappointed that there was not coffee or tea available all the time.

Decent for the price.

Breakfast and the mini gym were appreciated.

Cleaning staff was extremely loud while in the hallways during the morning hours. Carpets weren't clean in our room and felt sticky. Elevators floors were constantly wet cause of people using the pool. The hot water had tons of coffee grounds in them so couldn't use for tea.
