Fantastic!!

I have stayed here often over the past few years with my sons and their wives, and it has never disappointed me nor them. It has recently been refurbished and the rooms are now lovely and bright with a lovely walk in shower in the room I stayed in. The breakfast is delicious and covers most peoples choices. The whole of the hotel is very clean, even the public areas. The location is ideal for most of the attractions. The staff treat you with the utmost respect and are always pleasant and welcoming, a special mention for Bjorn who has helped me with all of my questions, "a big thank you". Can't wait to come back.

Great location with secure parking and friendly stay within the old town.

Great location, easy to get to by car and inside old town. Everything within walking distance. Very secure parking and lovely hotel with great bar and very friendly staff. Would stay again.

Good stay but Ive had better ones in the same hotel

This is my 4th or 5th time here and nothing can beat the friendly staff or the location. This time it was beautifully dressed up for Christmas and I must say the hallways and common areas smelled amazing! Great breakfast as usual, and super professional staff.

The hotel was - as they state - fully renovated in 2023. But the room I stayed in had some faults you would not expect in a fully renovated hotel, nor in an expensive one. These are maybe minor complaints but I feel like at this price point they need to be addressed: - the flusher in the room was defective, would not stay down unless pressed twice otherwise water kept coming - scuffs on walls and on furniture - towels looked overused, not fluffy at all, and no bathrobes offered - room was quite bare, devoid of decor - nothing in the minibar - was expecting some drinks and snacks (to pay for, sure - but give me the option) - tea bags were offered but no way to boil water for it (except for maybe using the coffee machine? Which was a capsule machine so no separate function to boil water) - dust on top of mirror in bathroom - loud room - have not had this issue before in other buildings of the same hotel (hotel has more buildings) but this time I could hear people walking and talking outside the room etc - light in the room was atrocious. I dont use lots of makeup but it was impossible to apply anything right in any mirror there was in the room or bathroom. Cant imagine no one thought about how you need mood light and better light in the bathroom, maybe a magnifying mirror too - so many led lights are on during the night it seems like youre sleeping with a night light. No way to go around it so if you are easily disturbed by light in the bedroom at night, bring an eye mask - breakfast was very good but 25 per person per day seems excessive for what it is I really hope this was an anomaly and we were just unlucky this time.
