The Dioklecijan Hotel & Residence offers comfortable corporate style accommodation with friendly and helpful staff. The rooftop pool and spa are a highlight, providing a fantastic space to relax and (Read More)soak up the sun. The hotel decor may be dated and the rooms basic, but they are clean and tidy. The breakfast quality is mediocre, but the hotel's restaurant is good. The biggest drawback is the distance from the Old Town, but overall, it's a solid hotel with excellent customer service and convenient amenities.

Exceptional

My partner and I spent New Year's Eve at the hotel. We arrived at the hotel earlier and were granted an early check-in without an extra charge. We also got a free upgrade to an Executive Suite, "Fortuna," even though we originally booked a Superior Double room. The room was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped with an enormous bed that could comfortably fit 4 people. In one of the two bathrooms, there is a large bathtub, ideal for couples who like it romantic. Two balconies with a beautiful view of the sea and the city. The highlight is the wellness area on the 7th floor of the hotel. Equipped with 2 different saunas, a steam bath, a beautiful roof terrace with an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi, and sun loungers, with a beautiful view of the sea and the city as well. Very friendly staff at the reception and in the wellness area. We will definitely return.

The underground garage is very good, especially because of the complicated parking situation in the city, but the price of 13 per day is, in my opinion, too expensive. That extra cost was not highlighted well enough when I booked the accommodation. The breakfast choice was limited but well-prepared and enjoyable. Better organization on the behalf of the staff at breakfast would be desirable. When we arrived at the breakfast, we were unpleasantly asked which room we were coming from, as if we were intruders from outside. In general, breakfast was a bit chaotic and disorganized. A host at the entrance of the dining area and a fixed table space for each room would also be appropriate.

It was nice, the staff isnt very fluent in English, but they are trying to help as much as they can.

Its on a great location by car. Big room, nice furniture

We found a pair of used socks in the wardrobe, I cannot mirror my iPhone to the screen, only for androids.

Room was spacious and equipped with a good quality furniture, very comfortable. Excellent breakfast.

Exceptional

Nice breakfast with vegetarian options, friendly staff, clean and modern room, good wifi. Bathroom was equipped in many cosmetics and had an emergency button in the shower so I felt extra safe :).

The balcony seemed a bit dangerous because of the gap between the barrier and the floor of the balcony (easy for personal items to fall through). But its just a very minor thing

Superb

Big room with balcony, nice roof terrace. Sauna was good extra but finnish sauna stove needs more rocks and they suppose to pile them all the way from the bottom.

Breakfast juices were too sweet
