Very good

15 min from French Quarter & good breakfast, nice patio firepit for winter visit.

Breakfast was very good! We loved the grits. Also great to have fresh waffles, and rotating hot foods: bacon, sausage links, sausage, O'Brian potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese/egg melts. So delicious! The patio firepit was nice too.

Fire pit was nice

Rooms were not ready when we checked in after 1700. The excuse was they had a lot of rooms check out in the morning. They could not tell us when our king room would be ready, they wanted us to wait in the lobby. Ended up getting a room with two queen beds. Beds were not queen. Probably doubles. Could hear everything.

Great if you don't mind not being in the touristy areas

Great location for those of us who don't want to stay in the French Quarter or downtown, with their high prices and ridiculously expensive parking. We were visiting family and had no need to stay in the more touristy places. (However, the more touristy places aren't a far drive away.) Metairie has TONS of shopping and restaurants and is pretty safe, so we enjoyed staying there more than downtown. The breakfast was really good too-- an actual hot breakfast (eggs, sausage/bacon, hashbrowns, grits, make-your-own waffles) plus the usual cereal, fruit, toast/bagels/pastries, and yogurt.

The bed was hard.

Very good

Pleasantly surprised how nice the hotel is in general.

The room was very clean, quiet , and comfortable. Very spacious room. The outdoor living space was very nice and well thought out for relaxation and visiting with your company. Great location and parking was plentiful.

The outdoor carpeting was very stained and worn. The elevator was not working had to walk to the other end with my luggage. Breakfast would have been great however at 8:50 they had no coffee, eggs, sausage, hash browns & 3 biscuits. When I asked if we could get more coffee the attitude of the staff was quite rude and uncaring. After waiting 20 minutes they restocked except for eggs. I was flat out told no they would not be putting anymore out and thats what I only wanted. Very disappointed by the staff. One lady in particular was complaining when she came out about how she was not happy with her job. I will be calling the manager as well so he can address his staff and make necessary training decisions.

Disappointing

The manager insisted that I had to watch a channel in the public sitting area that he later found out was mistakenly put on a channel for infomercials by his team When I frustratingly pointed out his obvious error ( I did not curse, nor raise my voice)he then insisted that the company policy would not allow him to put on the Sunday New Orleans Saints game! He insisted that I apologize to him in order to watch it. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but I spend approximately 45 days a year in New Orleans on business and will never stay there again. Too many great hotel choices in New Orleans to have to put up with nonsense.
