Unfortunately I did not get to stay here. We were in town for a cheer competition at the convention center. When I arrived for check in , I was told my reservation had been moved and we were being relocated to another resort that was going to be about a 45 min drive across town. We had to be at the competition at 6am. We didnt get a message informing us of the change prior to arrival which would have given us an opportunity to cancel the reservation and find something closer. Luckily Wilderness had a room available so we were able to book directly through them. So we called to cancel the original reservation and I was told I would get a full refund. Still waiting on that. I will never use a third party agency for this property again.

Wish the water park and other amenities stayed open later as we stayed out later in the city. Indoor water park water was really cold too. The outdoor pool/jacuzzi area - I feel it should be closed off from the elements cold head in hot water is a solution for sickness. I was fearful My kids were going to get sick and did a little bit but I got them well fast. Also having some type of breakfast bar/free coffee and or more economic food options would be nice. I didnt like that the food places were on the second floor above the pool area. We never made it in time to try anything they close early too. Hood range didnt really do its job, when I cooked it made so much vapor and or smoke I thought the alarms would go off. Silly me. But would barely cook anything and it didnt get rid of any smoke or vapor had to open the patio area and it was cold ugh. Wish there was a fireplace even electric in the room. Bc the fireplace In the lobby doesnt even have a real tv to watch or anything.

I love these resorts!! We love the fire pits at night very nice. We love how at home you feel with the rooms. The water park was nice.

The staff set us up for a time share meeting. We get up to go like 2 days later and they didn't realize the set back from time change so they had to cancel the meeting. Very inconvenient because we had a vacation itinerary. We weren't offended anything to compensate for the mistake either. It was definitely the blonde girls fault but she was insistent that it was someone who we talked to on the phone the night beforehand. She wanted me to give her details of who did it but it made me uncomfortable because she was trying to get someone who answered my call in trouble. The only other issue was that the bath tub was dirty. It had hair and grime in it. I had to clean the tub to give my kids a bath.

We loved it and will be back.

Love the rooms and bathrooms. Very spacious. Loved the amenities.

Only complaint was the location. Takes a little bit to get to everything on the main road in Pigeon Forge.

It was close to attractions and lots of restaurants, it also had a inside water park to keep the fun going even in colder months.

Worst Experience

Good location and amenities if we had got to use the amenities during our stay.

Poor customer service, over charged from booking amount and email confirmation total. Staff more concerned about pushing tours and timeshare than respecting our space and no response. Continued to call and push timeshare tour even though it was declined. Major issue with check in process, poor communication, kept swiping our credit card multiple times during our stay. Made us come to customer service to check out and re check in the next day after spending a hour the night on arrival to check in. Spent so much time sorting out reservations we missed out on our dinner reservations and half a day wasted the next day.

First family vacation to TN our stay was a 9/10

It was very clean and family oriented. My family had a blast will be back next year.

They were remodeling but that was the only down fall.

Bad

The hotel Canceled my reservation while I was on the highway on my way there. Wow, during fall break my daughter was extremely upset. There were no more hotels that were affordable and kid friendly. So we turned around.

Keep up with your bookings so this doesn't happen to someone else.
