The bed was comfortable albeit only 1m40 wide despite advertising it as a "double" so for 2 adults it was very squeezed. This happens quite often in France so better check with the reception if that could be an issue for you.
The water in the shower never got really hot, only luke-warm. It didn't help to keep the water running for a while. The owners are probably trying to save money on fuel. There was a lot of noise from the street despite being on the 4th floor on the "quiet side" of the building. I guess that's to be expected if you want to be in central Cannes,

Location of the hotel is so good.
Lowest category rooms are very small. We paid and upgraded our room to the one with balcony and that was so nice and very comfortable

Comfy stay during the TFWA show
High standard of comfort, real 4 stars, super prime location on the main trade street, you can feel Cannes vibes outside:)
A bit nosy in the evening outside with people walking till the late night, but it is not the hotels fault. Good soundproofing.
