The Best Western Plus Beach View Lodge offers a comfortable stay with attentive staff, good breakfast, and a great location with views. The rooms are clean but a bit dated. The hotel has a fire pit, (Read More)pool, and deck to enjoy the ocean views. It is conveniently located near the beach, restaurants, and attractions such as the Safari Park and Legoland. Some guests experienced issues with room cleaning and parking fees. Overall, it is a pleasant and convenient place to stay in Carlsbad Beach.

It was great.

Replace the carpet in the room. It was old and dirty appearing. Nicer towels would be good too.

Great Place

Close to the beach. Ocean view. Great breakfast.. Sound of the waves on the balcony is great.

Pay for parking is BS. What's wrong with not trying to get every dollar you can. And try to give a little extra value.

Views are awesome, its so close to the beach spot we love! Best breakfast of any hotel Ive stayed at. Great staff! It had all the beach equipment we needed so I didnt have to drive from Az with any of that. Ive booked her 3 times and I just love it!
