Superb

Great modern place, reasonable price, good value.

Clean modern new facilities. Quiet, don't hear door slams from other guests, outside noise is very minimal from traffic, almost imperceptible.

Not much. Lack of restaurant is a bit annoying, but grab food delivery and lots of great restaurants within walking distance is great

Very dissapointing hotel, not a 5 star

It was clean.

I reserved a room at this 5 star hotel hoping for a nice experience on Christmas Eve, before the continuation of our trip the next day.. Unfortunately, after a long trip we discovered that not only there was no bar where we could sit and relax while having a drink, also there was no possibility to order food in the hotel. There was no room service or any kind of food or drink service at all. It was 22.00 o' clock. We had to run from one restaurant to another in the neighbourhood, only to hear that the kitchen was closed. We were then given a paper with some QR codes (at the reception), so we can order food on the internet. The QR codes did not work. Eventually we managed to find an internet site and ordered some food. But before we did that we had to connect to internet. But the password we were given did not work, because our name was filled in wrong by the reception. So it took some extra time to fix that too. By the time we finished eating it was 12.30 in the night. When we wanted to go to sleep we discovered that the materass of the extra bed was extremely hard. I must say that we made use of an extra bed in many hotels but we never had such a unconfortable , hard materass. Especially not in a 5 star hotel. It seemed to have bricks inside it. My son had to sleep on the sofa. Eventually we went to sleep after a very dissapointing Christmas Eve in the Ascott Embassy Sathorn hotel. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Maybe a 3 star. We didn't use the breakfast or the swimmingpool because we just wanted to leave as quick as possible. And we do not intend to return.

if you are budget-concerned for a 5-star hotel, you may choose this one.

The location is near Silom, which is convenient. I always traveling by taxi, so MRT or BTS is not into my consideration. breakfast is with various choice, it's not a bad one. The view from the 23rd Floor is good.

There's is no 100% centrally controlled panel for the lights, that means you have to switch off some of the lights separately. A small cockroach came, which is somewhat not a good sign for 5-star hotel. The laundry service will not return your clothes back within 24 hours, they should enhance the efficiency on it. The gym is somewhat simple, not enough for trainers. The TV doesn't support Netflix.
