Dramatic stay

The hotel is very dramatic up in the fort. The dinner up on the roof was amazing and the breakfast we found the western options very mixed, but the Indian options usually really good. The staff were great, some had better English than others, but overall they all really wanted to help and provide a good service (however, see point below). It feels very relaxing as the hotel doesn't feel too busy.

The hotel is over an hour outside of Jaipur so take this into account when booking. Some parts of it are also quite tired and probably need a bit of a referb. Our room was lovely but the pool area was not up to 5* standards. We also found it quite stressful being given the option to tip after every interaction - e.g. after ordering any drink, having any meal, massage, or anything else, when you get the bill to sign to your room, there is an option to add a tip. This creates very small stresses on the guests as the staff will check to see how much you have tipped (naturally, as anyone would!) and they could get quite disheartened if they didnt think you tipped a lot. I have seen it work a lot better at other hotels where they say that if you would like to tip, then to do it all at the end on check out.

Overall Hospitality Staff are amazing Abhishek from the Front Office team did an amazing job in accomodating our requests Ganeshan from F&B took care of our requests for dining Breakfast was great especially local delicacies Room which was a suite was 72 sqm and was amazing

Dinner at the Rooftop was super expensive and not worth the food served but the staff at this hotel is amazing

Incredible building, beautiful but exceptionally comfortable. All staff were faultless. Special mention for the head of food and beverages Aditya who ensured allergies in our party were addressed - the food was superb.

Superb

A lovely, peaceful getaway.

I just love the location and what theyve done with the property. The service was excellent with so much warmth and kindness. The food was amazing too. Try the Surajmukhi kebabs! The spa was absolutely fantastic.

Just a couple of small things like the maintenance of the showers that could have been better. But theyve taken my feedback on board and Im sure theyll fix it soon.

The cheapest wine was an average 2021 Malbec for which they charged 100 euros. Even allowing for taxes etc, that is extortionate.
